6/14/2020 - IQIYI surprisingly released all the remaining episodes (31-48) today. I've scanned through most of the episodes and would say if you enjoy a good love story, and a well put together all lose-ends tied up, non-rushed happy ending, this show is very satisfying to watch. It's probably one of the best endings I've seen. Throughout the show, very few people gets killed off, almost all good people get to live at the end, people who do bad things are somewhat redeemed, the main leads have a very happy and sweet ending. Episodes 3-12, 18-20 are good. Episodes 21-32 are dragging and separates the two leads so you can fast forward/skip (predictable misunderstanding, antagonist scheming, good people getting screwed, the usual stuff). 33 to 48 are excellent! Easy predictable plot, many sweet scenes between the 2 leads, good people win at the end, peace restored, blah blah. So nobody needs to spend 48 episodes to be mad at the ending. Even ShangGuan Tao's guard lives at the end (killing off loyal protector seems to be a thing with Chinese drama).

The cast of characters , Muyuan & the evil prince Lie portrayed their parts convincingly. The sceneries are magnificent especially with the cascading waterfalls & the bountiful, colorful peach blooms in Moon Valley! Thank you for a very entertaining English-subbed drama!

Wuxia/xianxia battles are usually very... floaty. It can't be helped due to the way they are filmed, but I appreciate what they are doing here to lessen it.
