It would be really cool to put all of the yarn stores you visited on an interactive map that you can click on. It would be sort of like a resource for if you are traveling. It would just make it easier to look at and it would be fun to watch the videos again before visiting!
I experienced Loop during the 2024 Philly Yarn Crawl. I found it to be a lovely store with a great selection and very helpful staff. I’m so glad you featured them in your tour.
I moved to Philly in late 2019 and soon thereafter became a devoted Loop customer. Up to that point, I’d never knitted a sweater, so I decided to take the plunge and signed up for Loop’s basic pullover course. Directly after that, I took the colorwork pullover class, and then a third class in which I knitted and steeked my first colorwork cardigan. Unfortunately, the pandemic put a temporary halt to my in-the-classroom knitting education, but during those long months, I stayed busy at home using the wonderful yarns (I especially loved the offerings from Kelbourne Woolens, Brooklyn Tweed, and Rowan) that were all available from Loop on-line. Post-pandemic, I’ve taken short courses in Magic Loop and sock knitting, and if they ever form a class in how to properly set in a sleeve, I’ll be the first to sign up LOL. Thank you for posting this video and prompting me to reflect on the role that this shop has played in supporting my beloved hobby/addiction. This is Thanksgiving week, so let this message be an expression of my gratitude to my terrific local yarn store! Love ya, Loop! ❤️
I live in PR, I am moving back to the mainland & Pa is one of my possible states to settle in. I cannot wait to stop in to the Loop!!! Thank you Knatty, I’m so happy to break out of geometric shapes that’s I’ve been knitting for years! I signed up for Sockmas, to hold me over until I move sometime in December’24. Love your show & concept, you are a treasure❤️ Be careful out there on the road. See you on 11-29-24😘
Another great video, their loop yarn looks so colorful. You could make Purls gradient cowl with all those colors. You always have such amazing videos Natalie. Our yarn stores here in NYC seem so small in comparison. If you come back to NYC do a few videos again of some of the stores here.
Hi Natalie, Kent and Toaster. Another great yarn tour. I always check out their website once I have finished watching just to see all the beautiful items they sell. Amazing they are celebrating 20 years next year too. I am sure it will be a big celebration. Thankyou. Take care on your travels again.
So many fun adventures! I just found the cutest yarn ship in Farmersville Texas, it’s called Yarn and you. Have you been there? It’s got a large variety and the shop owner is so nice!
