@RetroWarsuk i think part of the problem (on pc at least) is that the shadow side is brand new and is part of the main launcher and when you click on sonic's portion it loads another exe(probably the orginal game just with the modded cutscenes. Basically a fancy rom hack tbh). Now, the shadow portion works as intended, but the sonic side (with steam input disabled) reads my controller with totally wrong inputs. X is a, a is b, left trigger is start, ect. With steam input enabled (which works with shadow's side), it doesn't read any inputs at all. It will only register my keyboard when I hit a key. It's a bit frustrating that I can't just play out of the box like I can with most modern pc games.
Honestly i may get my steam copy refunded. The shadow side of the game works with my xbox controller but the sonic side is all screwed up
