Revelation 18 talking prabout Europe/Rome during colonialism , how European misbehave during that era (promoting slavery etc etc), how they acquire goods (Rev 18:12-13) from trade post/colonies and how that era end in double cup punishment aka 2 world wars. Revelation 17 was current era Europe, how their relation with the beast/islam and how finally islam will attack her burn her with fire (jihad terror).
Uhm....Europe is still Standing. Rev 18 makes it Abundantly Clear that "Merchant City" will Not be left standing after that Fall. I'm Convinced it might be China, if China is left standing after this Coronavirus Plague I will be surprised...Several times in the Chapter it says those who Trade with this city will "stand far off...and Weep and Mourn" over it
Babylon is the twin towers. The angels were the planes. The great city is New York city where all the world trades. The woman with the crown of thorns is the statue of liberty. The cup in her right hand is the torch of liberty n freedom. The city of bride n groom is again New York city.
The bible does not tell us that a loaf of bread will cost a bag of gold. Larry Norman is the one who said that. A measure of wheat or two measures of barley will cost a days wage according to John the Revelator. Sloppy preaching, and I am not used to hearing that from you! Do you need a break? Please be very careful in the future when it comes to quoting from the bible. If you believe that gold will have no future value that would be your opinion and should be clarified as such. Perhaps you need to go to a Stanley Cup game?
It is not a day of wage but in Greek was denarius aka dinar. Dinar is islamic/caliphate currency which surprisingly is the only currency mentioned in Revelation. other chapter talking relate to monetary was Rev 13.....no one able to buy or sell unless has the mark...coincidence? i think not.
There are some mistakes in this study. The thousand years reign will NOT happen here on earth but in heaven. When the thousand years comes to an end we will go back down to earth and Jesus will awake the rest of the people (satans team) and they will have their judgement. Satan and his team will then finally be destroyed by fire and we can finally live and build our own houses in peace on earth again. Sin will have been done away with once and for all.
