Arizona Archery Javelina Hunt

ACO went out with our friend Garrison to help with his Javelina hunt in Arizona. He drew a rifle tag but decided to hunt down with a bow! Even though three Shwackers failed to deploy he was able to take down a Javelina with a heart shot.

Three shots? After the first shot, just wait for up to 30 minutes. This way the pig will not spook and will just bleed out. After your first shot, he moved only a short distance which meant that he was mortally wounded.

Although I absolutely agree he would have died and possibly not gone anywhere. However we didn’t want him to suffer or if he decided to take off running making for a long track.
