I was in the Army in 94 stationed in Egypt. My wife recorded all my favorite Enigma songs onto a cassette tape and sent it to me. This whole album was on there. I would lay in bed at night and fall asleep listening to it. Oh man, the memories this brings back.

My wife and I had moved to Okinawa. We were in the market for some new sound equipment. We went downtown to the best audiophile stores...I spent some big bucks and took it back to the apartment. This was the first album we played. It was epic. There are no words to describe that first time hearing Enigma. One of the greatest and most authentic albums ever. It’s relevant today, like it was back then.

Escuche esta musica por primera ocasion como en 1991. En camino de Yukon Training Area a Ft. Wainwright Alaska despues de una evolucion de entrenamiento con Infanteria Artica en temperaturas extremas muy cansados estabamos. Abordamos los buses y emprendimos camino, el chofer del bus puso esta musica y era tan relajante que todos los soldados absorbimos esta musica en una sesion de silencio relajacion. Ahora la vuelvo a escuchar wow..

Brings back so many wonderful 🌞memories. I bought this as a cassette I think 1996. Wore that out, then bought it as DVD. Wore that out also. Now on my 2nd DVD. Mixing Gregorian with rock etc was inspired. This album is timeless. I might request it for my funeral. It should get the vicar tapping his feet as well as the mourners. Indeed, I might be tapping my feet in my box as well.
De lo mejor en música y melodía. Al principio de los 90s y hasta el día de hoy no hay alguna producción que se le pueda igualar. Existen variantes algo muy parecidas pero no iguales. Esto es único.
Sobre todo el hecho de que muchos no saben que la voz de la cantante es Sandra. La misma que canta: María Magdalena... Y otra nota curiosa, es que el productor F. Gregorian después de separarse de Michael Cretu (quien le robo los derechos) creó otro Grupo llamado Gregorian que sería prácticamente la continuación de este álbum. Les recomiendo escucharlo.

I heard this album nearly 25 years ago and it still resonates every fiber of my being. I was in my middle life and I am in the winter of my life ..... Now each day is a gift. I have lost so many along the way but I must continue and as long as I do they will live with me in fond memories.

Wow! It's been a hundred years! Where have you been my love? I remember when I first heard this album so long ago. I'd listen to it all the time before I'd go out dancing. Everytime Sadness came on in the club, no matter where I was I'd have to rush out to the dancefloor and get my groove on. Slow, sexy and lost in time. Brings back so many wonderful memories. It's a classic. Ahead of it's time but always so new and fresh to listen to again. I'm so glad I found you my precious!

I was introduced tovthis album (in vinyls format) at my community College dance class (i think was interpretative dance) way back in 1992 or 1993... i remembered being mesmerized by it. I speak some French and i loved the fact it was not just English... a total master piece. I feel it in my soul every time. Thank you Enigma.!

I introduced my whole family to this album. I wanted it to touch them as it did me and they loved it, so many times we all would listen. Great pure soul music. This is heard still to this day all over the world. We can connect and resolve so many differences is we would just allow it and work towards a better destiny. To all that follow my love is real and remains, has I hope and push towards better outcome for as all.

Atmospheric vibes, have you even listened to the whole album in the background and let it affect you? It seems no. I doubt you were alive in the 90s. Thats not a judgement. Just makes sense why you dont get this. But even today its still fresh.

@@viscountslappy5085 I am unsure about elsewhere in the world, but here in Australia you could be 19 in highschool. Perhaps older if you have repeated a year or two.
You can also be in your 30s (possibly older) as a mature aged student returning to finish the years you skipped.

Wow! It's been a hundred years! Where have you been my love? I remember when I first heard this album so long ago. I'd listen to it all the time before I'd go out dancing. Everytime Sadness came on in the club, no matter where I was I'd have to rush out to the dancefloor and get my groove on. Slow, sexy and lost in time. Brings back so many wonderful memories. It's a classic. Ahead of it's time but always so new and fresh to listen to again. I'm so glad I found you my precious!

I was introduced tovthis album (in vinyls format) at my community College dance class (i think was interpretative dance) way back in 1992 or 1993... i remembered being mesmerized by it. I speak some French and i loved the fact it was not just English... a total master piece. I feel it in my soul every time. Thank you Enigma.!

We are the true love we are the generation that will call the lost ones back to their true calling, connecting back to their inner child the true self and taking your hand and with each step walking into the marvelous light.
I introduced my whole family to this album. I wanted it to touch them as it did me and they loved it, so many times we all would listen. Great pure soul music. This is heard still to this day all over the world. We can connect and resolve so many differences is we would just allow it and work towards a better destiny. To all that follow my love is real and remains, has I hope and push towards better outcome for as all.

This is not newage music. It is many things.. Meditative, soulful.. Heart warming.. The monks chanting, the moods elicited.. Atmospheric vibes, have you even listened to the whole album in the background and let it affect you?
It seems no. I doubt you were alive in the 90s. Thats not a judgement. Just makes sense why you dont get this. But even today its still fresh.
Enigma is timeless genius is genius no matter the year.

Согласен, но (!) - изумительной красоты ВСЕ создания Enigma. Мне в 90-м было 35, ставил для sex, ныне (67, но ЖИВУ дАААвно в Канаде) - лишь для relax, «вышел из большого секса», увы... КЛАССНАЯ МУЗЫКА, и жаль, что НЕ услышат УЖЕ её НИ-КО-ГДА - ру. zольдаты - трупами гниющие на ЧУЖОЙ Земле Украины. Да “в тылу” - ру. бараны (86%?) терпеливо топают на пукинскую скотобойню (пукинский РАЙ), ГУЛАГ 2.0 или Улус Китая, не до плясок\песен - ИМ... Слава пукину! УрЯЯЯ!!!

Ich werde dieses Jahr nie vergessen, erste wirklich feste Freundin, die Abende im Garten beim Tonnenfeuer mit den Freunden, meinen weissen Polo Sondermodell Boullouvard, unsere Camping Urlaube an der Ostsee. Eine schöne Zeit und höre ich das erste Album von Enigma bin ich wieder da....
