- Stop raking leaves and start harvesting HOT Peppers!!!
October means many things: Midterms, tidying up the yard, Halloween... you get the picture. But it also means hot peppers that take their sweet time from seed to harvest are finally ready to be plucked from the plants. In this video, you'll take a look at the pepper varieties I grew this year and how they performed in my front yard urban vegetable garden!

Those reaper peppers are very cool looking!
Indeed they are!
Not sure what is scarier, those reaper peppers or that Halloween garden statue.
Neither am I
Amazing lantern pepper plant, good job bro. Please teach me how better way growing them. Thanks.
Thanks! Check out some of my other pepper videos for tips. Would always appreciate a new sub and IG follower!
You could cut it back, pot it up and winter it over inside the house for a jumpstart on the next year.
I did that before with a Reaper!!! It survived and was like a tree the next season. Unfortunately haven't had much luck after that due to aphids. I find that ones started from seed can produce just as much.
Kudos to you for consistently delivering videos that stand out, my friend. Your unique style and creativity make them unforgettable. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
yes! definitely needed this
What'd I tell ya?
I accidently bought 6 ghost pepper plants on sale this year. They have gone crazy! I have no idea what to do with them without a dehydrator. Those plants looked great!
make sauce. Use mangoes, pineapple and papaya to temper the heat a bit.
Hahaha
Keep it up!!
Love the gardening!!!
finally!!
Cool plants, but that Jack in the box clown is awesome! Did you build it yourself? Do you do set design or something similar?
Thanks! No, I got it from Home Depot a couple years back. I don't do set design but am interested in it.
Beautiful!
This is amazing! I'm trying to grow reapers now. Do you think seedling soil mixed with vermiculite will work to germinate them? Another question is how often should I water them while they're trying to germinate in the humidity dome?
Thanks amigo
Yes that should work! Just monitor the soil and make sure it doesn't dry out. I'm actually working on a video on how to grow Carolina Reapers from seed to harvest, it should be coming out this week!!!!
@@lucasgrowsbestyt gracias bro
How did you know this hot pepper harvest video was exactly what I needed?
Just a spicy hunch! 😉
👍🏾
Maybe use the hot peppers for squirrel deterrent next year.
They don't care, unfortunately :(
Crush Carolina reapers, mix with vinegar and water in a spray bottle, spray the tomatoes and things they like. Maybe leave a peanut butter pine cone with some pepper spray mixed in
1:19 Did your parents buy you a studio audience for making the dean's list?
Who told you I made the dean's list? I was trying to keep that a secret. But yeah they did.
@@lucasgrowsbestyt You seem like such a cute, studious little nerd. 🤓
What do you do with your hot pepper harvest if not eat them? 🤔
Either my dad eats them or they rot haha!
Hot peppers and Squirils ? welcometo my garden. why does your garden play music ? mine has fart sounds. Been a subb for years, TY
Why dont they spell it "Jabanero"?
Why would they? It's pronounced 'HAB-AH-NYERO'.
@@lucasgrowsbestyt Cuz jalapeno is pronounced HAL-AH-PAIN-YO
