For the tire one, I would have given it to the ones who knew what it was for. Knowing the exact name for it doesn’t actually help you change the tire.

Re: a mattress’ lifespan, you can argue that’s just marketing & it varies by brand.
Also a true adult knows mattresses are expensive AF & the practical answer is you keep rotating & flip your mattress (with occasional vacuuming) until a spring pops out. And then you put duct tape over the spring until you can afford to buy a new one.

If calculating 10% is tricky for you, calculate 10% and double it. If that stumps you, the easiest way to do 10% is move the decimal point over to the left by one digit. So 10% of $72.83 is $7.28, and 20% is $14.56.

8:05 -- I work in a nation-wide, big-box hardware store,, some of the elderly 🧓 customers that come in can't see very clearly, so I have helped them out by writing out the checks for them,, then they sign them. 🙂🥰

To be fair, I’m almost 50 and have been adulting for a long time and I don’t know how to tie a tie. I have a vague idea of how to do it but haven’t in my life. And I can drive a manual transmission… The fitted sheet is just unfair. 😂 Watch the fitted sheet episode of Grace and Frankie. You’re a witch!

First off kudos to all of them for trying. Now they know what being an adult is like.
Second off, I'm 19. I know how to write a check, and what credit is but the rest? NAH bruh 🤣
Third of all, I never knew how to tie a tie(wow shocking) until they showed that TikTok
Fourth, Being an adult is a lot of work BUT there are easy ways around it. That Grandma on round 10 is literally me. Just crumple up the sheet and shove it in the f****** drawer.
And lastly I never clean my sheets........ TO be cont....

The 20% is so easy lol, you just have to move the period/comma over to make 20% and then multiply by 2

“It’s not easy to calculate without a calculator”!!!!
WTAF??? 20% is EASY to calculate without a calculator, you just double the total bill and divide by 10, or move the decimal 1 place to the left. How is that “not easy”?!?!?!
Ahh, the American education system, leaves a lot to be desired 🤦🏼‍♂️😂😂😂

There is no manual on Adulting, and no school will teach you. I learned how to write out a check while watching the Price is Right, and I learned how to tie a tie, while watching an episode of Days of Our Lives. And another thing, you can tell Angel is gonna split the check when she go on dates.
