I'm not a fan of the 1000 turns style of salsa. I think we're moving to salsa 2.0 now where dancing is prioritized over spinning the girl like 007.
That was great.
I admit that he is a great dancer with amazing technique but he is just showing off his technique being absorbed only in his own world, ignoring her presence there as a dancing " partner " . She seems embarrassed feeling herself being just " used " as kind of a machine and " excluded " from the whole scene that he is creating alone : no harmony at all... I noticed that she tried a few times to involve him in a " dance in two" but in vain because he continued to ignore such a move keeping his eyes off from hers during the whole dance. I repeat he is bravissimo with impressive technique, however, as far as this session is concerned, he is lacking partnership unless this is an intentional style agreed on by both of them.
Admit he is a great dancer? Nah man, just turning the crap out of a woman doesn't make him a great dancer. Watch Eddie Torres Jr. how he dances to the same song

Hahaha, I am not talking about the real professional dancers' level. The category is completely different and you should know about my comment's " true " intention here. So obviously it is useless to compare him with Eddie Torres Jr. we should talk about in completely different circumstances ;)
Thank u... someone else sees it. This was awful. I don’t like to write negative comments, but I hope this is not where salsa is going. If so, they need to shut it down & get back to basics.🤣🤣😂

Marco, if you are reading this: Please go back to dance with music. Yes your moves are amazing but it doesnt matter like that when i watch you with sounds off or on..
I think he dances with music. Especially see 0:30 - 0:36, 0:39 - 0:41, 0:59 - 01:06, solo 1:53 - 2:13, etc...
@@valerianos Thanks for your reply. Imo, those are mostly "trying", when someone doesnt listen to the music and trying to fitting in. Look how he missed this easy song by 0.5 seconds or so by doing "things" after or before each timestamps you shared.
Also, at 0:41 it is too much embarrassing how he treats the lovely lady as a bag of potato (with high power pulling) just to be seen cute on the video.
MrYildiz59 your point about his moves not going with the music is completely flawed by time stamping 0.39 - 0.43 where he does this move by first stopping the girl on the shoulder before doing the turn after which the stop goes with the lyrics but it’s subtle but still shows how musical Marco is aswell as this he leans to the left on the lead to highlight the instrument in the song

The only obvious mistake is on 03:20, when he misanticipates the "clap-clap" and makes a beat delay in movement illustation.
Red really suits this lady. She seems to care more about actually dancing to the song. Typical Marco dance...

It’s almost as if he practiced to this song. A lot of moves, more spinning than actually dancing with one another...as if he was trying to get it all in, instead of caring for her. Bet she’s tired..😆😆

That was whack...there really needs to be classes on the meaning of social dancing and how to actually social dance. He needs to learn musicality and not do a turn pattern just to do it and loosen up too. Also, give her a breather here and there and make her look good!

I don’t like the way he dances he seems so stiff at times. It’s obvious he’s not a Latino he doesn’t move like one since this is a Latino dance style but that can’t be taught it’s born with someone then all the moves is just for showing off but they’re okay not that bad.
