What an amazingly beautiful boat, with very good interior design concepts. Like that sliding bed, pocket doors, woodwork, etc. Taking the best of what works, and using it to make something truly beautiful and practical.
Nicely narrated by Capt, Steve .he certainly knows what he is talking about .and I know who to call for help when going for my first boat. The Fleming is just superb.
Fleming and Sirena yachts have the two best interior designs and fit and finish I have seen. This 65 is probably the most versatile trawler yacht made.........great review.....
6:23 "She's also great for over-nighting as well." She's much nicer than my apartment for over-nighting. It's a really great looking yacht though. I have watched quite a few yacht videos on UA-cam, and this one is designed so well. Some modern yachts go for a sterile minimalist design. This one seems to feature the best of classic aesthetics and modern practicality.
Nicer than your apartment? Dude...I live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house, that's around 2,000 square feet, in a resort town...and I would trade it for this boat in heartbeat! She's comfortable, beautiful, has great range. Now, where the HELL is that winning lottery ticket?!?!
This is a really nice yatch. Thanks captain Steve for your reviewing these boats. I trust you opinions and you do make these videos actually fun to watch. Thank you
@scabthecat Agreed, 100%. I've been looking at boats wondering that same thing. Sure, I have a huge family, and would love to take them on vacations once in a while, but...even for that, with my wife and daughter on board, this boat would STILL have room to take on some family, and the biggest bonus is: No crew needed. Those massive boats require crew, and I hate the idea of people I don't know being on my boat 24/7.
That's my dream, right there. Just a great boat, and spend as long as I want, cruising the various islands. I don't think I could EVER get tired of living that lifestyle.
BE STILL MY BEATING HEART! My favorite! I couldn’t afford the fuel, but I can still adore this magnificent design! No finer yacht around ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ You have a lose piece of paper in the salon ceiling. Sure its sold by now, but attention to DETAIL is what makes Fleming Yachts the best. Even if used! I’d never allow that if I was the broker. Just a heads up!
Thanks for joining us to see the Fleming 65 Features video. Don't forget to visit our website for our in-depth captain reports on this beautiful vessel. www.boattest.com
You guys do nice boat tours and show all the nice features of the boat. But to me a boat test is an extended sea trial and show how the boat performs in different conditions. I wish there was a channel that does that. There are plenty of offshore side by side tests about sailboats but none with power boats.
Great idea in the meantime you can do some quick comparisons on Boattest -- clic on fleming 65 and then press comparison tool with other boats we have tested.
Gorgeous boat. That said and recognizing that this might be viewed as a minor detail, but I am underwhelmed by the simple, basic sliding bolts they use to secure the doors on the Portuguese Bridge as well as the door hinge that is used. I have seen a review of Nordhavn 68. The hinge and bolt system used on that Portuguese Bridge is comparable to what you might see on a safe at a Bank. For a yacht of this magnitude and at this price point, I would expect Fleming to use something far more robust.
I really like this Yacht a lot... very well designed. I sometimes have an issue with some of these having so much wood everywhere that I do not like them ... this one is getting close to that but it is beautiful.
This one was conceived and designed to be used. It would be grossly wasted for those just interested in a dockside cocktail platform. The creative yet functional details and beauty are endless. A real sea going yacht. Plenty of fakes out there. Not this one. Outstanding tour, filming and narration along the way.
The cap rails are not wood, they are a composite developed and designed by Burr Yacht Sales and manufactured by Fleming. They are the best thing since sliced bread, the beauty of teak without needing to be varnished, just polished. They fool everyone and it looks like they fooled you :)
Perfect, magnificent. Great presentation Capt. Steve, but we'd love to see the ER, pilothouse and the lazarette too of course, after all we're maritime nerds:-)))
Please do check our Technical and performance test when you can. They're also live now on our channel. You can also visit: boattest.com/boat/fleming-yachts/65-2020
Just a beautiful vessel. My only question is, on a boat this large, why the master in the bow which is usually the most motion and noise part of a boat?
Magnificent boat only two details .. For years we were told that it could sail 200 nm at 6 knots, now it is only 1600, 400 nm less. always in the machine room could you stand now only 4 feet. I wonder are we improving the most important spaces ???
On a Fleming, there's not supposed to be a single sharp corner on any surface, so if you bump into something underway, you don't get as bad of a bruise, I guess!
All 4 Fleming models can withstand the same weather levels, a "category A" yacht that can't handle severe weather would be useless since you can't guarantee the weather.
@@jaquigreenlees "a "category A" yacht that can't handle severe weather..." No such thing. Weather and sea state conditions are part and parcel of the CE-A rating.

I'm pretty sure that all the teak you have shown inside between 2:00 and 2:40 is called mahogany. At best, they've done something to it to change its appearance.
The interior is vastly superiour to that of any Overpriced Sunseeker's I have seen reviewed . I would rather buy a Fleming ...if i had the money , just have to win the lotto first , also noticed the CCTV camera . Where is the life safety gear stored ?? Ie Life raft , life jackets ? The only visual change i would have is that fire Extinguishers be visable .. to be within easy reach when needed .
That ship is almost perfect.I'll have to pass for 2 reasons though.1.There are no cup holders, for my morning coffee, near the helm.2.I can't afford it anyway.Darnit.That is a very nice 'live aboard'and travel ship.
I have a smaller older sailboat and could never afford a Fleming. If my numbers ever come up it is goodbye sails hello Fleming. I am just waiting to see the yet to be launched Fleming 85? My numbers better come up big and I mean big 😀.
I wonder what type of wood they used.... Oh right teak.....lol And I guess you row this thing too? And why all the electric stuff? No genny to power it as you row away from the dock?
This might be the first Boat Test video I’ve ever seen with comments enabled... I like it.
Amazing how expensive these Fleming can be. It's very clear when I watch these videos.
What an amazingly beautiful boat, with very good interior design concepts. Like that sliding bed, pocket doors, woodwork, etc. Taking the best of what works, and using it to make something truly beautiful and practical.
I would've never guessed just by looking at the exterior that this yacht has 3 state rooms with 3 heads. Amazing vessel!
Nicely narrated by Capt, Steve .he certainly knows what he is talking about .and I know who to call for help when going for my first boat. The Fleming is just superb.
Beautiful yacht, the only thing wrong with this stunning classic is that it's not mine. Yet!! Thanks Captain Steve.
2.5 mill is a minimum for a used model
After careful consideration and research this is the top contender hands down. Beautiful craftsmanship.

I was always a fan of Flemings that are so underrated and need more PR. Beautiful little, quality ships.
Best lines of any trawler-style vessels.

All depends on the engines chosen and the fuel carried. - Capt. Steve
Yes. Lovely yachts⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏆🏆🏆🏆😍😍😍😍😍👍👍👍👍💕💞💕💞🚤🚤🚤🚤
Wouldn't change a thing on this vessel. Lovely. And, finally, pocket doors, which are just common sense!
I couldn't imagine ever hauling her out for an interior refitting. What would anyone possibly want to change?
@scabthecat Well, order it with a different counter when you get yours. 😁 I probably would, since it does look a bit "last decade" to me as well.
@scabthecat Of all the things to criticise...
Gonna start a GoFundMe page for this boat 😉
Classic style .
Lucky guy hwo own it. The Rolls Royce of the yachts.
Wonderful Boat!

Has this vessel got a steering wheel? It would be jolly nice to see it.

Beautiful
Can this ship do the great loop though the canals, locks and under the low bridges in New York and Illinois?
Beautiful boat. I'm surprised that all the drawers and cabinets aren't soft-close. Is that an option?
Mo only complaint is that the audio gain is a little low, making it hard to hear over the background noise.
I see the wood finish is far more elaborate than the "original one" - I guess it all depends of much $ you can put into it. Very nice indeed.
That's a nice yacht. Curious what it would look like with one master and one stateroom.
You can see the various layouts in their brochure, here: www.flemingyachts.com/assets/resources/Fleming-Brochure-Web-Version.pdf
I really like the fleming 65. I think this would be my boat of choice over a nordhavn. I like them too but something about the fleming style.
Wish there was engine, water maker, etc info in this video
Captain, what do I need to drive this boat; License to the size of that boat 55-65-
What kind of weather can she withstand? I know 55s and 58s can take on unnamed class A storms like a champ, what’s the upper limit of this one?

Question:Is there any teak on that boat?.
I am still searching for this answer. If anyone can help?
go to 3:29. it seems to be all throughout.
They will do whatever the customer requests.
