I saw her in a small club in Portland many years ago- and I cried laughing the entire time. I saved my ticket. I knew she would be huge one day. It was a memory I’ll never forget.

@@bethgleason3294 He was in a briliant sketch recently on SNL where he played George Washington with his troops. I forwarded the video to several friends, and they said it was one of the best they had seen on that TV show! I don't know if he had a hand in writing it.

She’s from my home county in Tennessee and I sorta knew her when she was a teenager (she was a student of my teacher friend and already hilarious). But long before that, I rode the school bus as a first grader with her “sweet little mama” and her aunts who were in high school. So proud of her!

I LOVED the Netflix special!!!! Leanne is the real deal. Comedy for me has always been about a great story teller rather than “jokes” and I could listen to her stories for hours on end. From one Tennessee gal to another…. You are YUMMY!!!!!

I had no idea who Leanne Morgan was five days ago, and now . . . having watched her Netflix special, and just about anything else I can find on the internet with her in it . . . . I don't think I've ever felt so happy to see someone get the success they deserve in my life. It's like watching a sister suddenly shoot to fame after years of trying hard to make it in Hollywood. Although probably a little better, because if I had a sister and she actually shot to fame in Hollywood, I can imagine there might be a little bit of jealousy on my part whereas with Leanne it's just pure, unadulterated, jealousy-free pride and joy that floods my soul on her behalf.

Funny lady, watched her live several years ago. I’m surprised by her speaking voice. I remember her having an accent as part of her act but I didn’t think it was this pronounced. Congratulations on her Netflix. It’s always nice to see someone’s career growth

I grew up in Appalachia and she so reminds me of my mom, grandma and aunts. The were funny, religious, and feisty, but had a heart big as the sky. Its nice to know they are not all gone. Plus Iam same age as her and relate to her comedy. Many of the younger comedians I can not All the cussing and vulgar talk gets tiring listening too as well. In fact I havent really followed comedy in a few years because well I just did not think any of it was all that funny. She reminds me of another time that I sorely miss. Thank you Leanne Morgan !
