Speeding the videos up is normally fine, but it affects quality quite a bit sometimes. While no one should be ugly (I am not sure if anyone was), as creators, we should welcome all feedback; not just the ones that we agree with. All views create the paychecks, so all opinions should be welcome (as long as it is not harassment, slander, argumentative, etc).
