Thanks for the video. I'm keen to get a Jayco Swan, my missus wants to look at getting a Jayco Journey. This gave us a few good points to think about though.
I have to admit I been thinking about buying a 20 year old caravan and flipping the axles to give it some semi off-road clearance to go behind the Navara
Great video - we have just sold our Jayco Eagle and getting a Jayco Journey Pop-Top in August. Agree with almost all your observations. One thing I won't be missing is camper trailer set-up as I found it would take several hours set-up as I'd be adding bed-end flys and enclosed awning plus setting up storage cupboards to go in the awning too.
Hi Lee, thanks. I made the video as it was honestly a fairly major topic of discussion when I made that impulse buy 😂 ... You will notice we now also have a Jayco Journey almost exactly the same which being newer and an Outback model solved a few of the negatives the Coromal had. I completely agree regarding the setup and pack down particularly in this wet weather it can become draining and limits how you use the camper. We do still love it so it will be a tough day when I do eventually sell it. However the Journey is just Soo easy, it's amazing.
Hi Isaac, the bed ends are rated to hold 350kg which is a lot. We have never had any issues with them feeling unstable to be honest, even when the kids jump in.
Fantastic information you have passed on thanks for sharing.

What’s the weight rating if those fold out beds on the camper trailer?
