Thanks everyone for the likes and comments!! P.S. I know the style isnt all that accurate to the gamecube 😅, I mostly took inspiration from it and thought it’d make for a good title and I’ll be more accurate in the future! ^^
It is fitting for Gamecube, it's just more like the shitty licensed games that released on the system, which is more fitting to the Wizard Beer concept. Lmao (In the best way possible)
I love that it's an unwritten rule that no matter what, when someone makes a fake game with dialogue options, you always have to have the unseen player hover over making the "incorrect" dialogue choice before clicking the "correct" dialogue choice.
Still waiting for version when they choose no and the "game" will play out completely differently or will ignore your refusal and play exactly how it should.
Man this reminds me of like when someone does a cover of a song and they really put their own oomph on it instead of trying to sound similar, this is great
This honestly feels closer to a DS port or mid-to-late N64 port than GameCube. Models would be smoother + it'd have voice acting if it was a typical GC game if you ask me.. Still, great work though! You did well either way!
I feel like the only thing missing to make it look truly authantic are the black bars that appear during cut-scenes to make them look more "cinematic".
yeah honestly i think you hit every retro nintendo aesthetic except gamecube, like the 8-bit-sounding title screen and the music at 0:48 sounding like it's coming from a handheld cartridge like GBA or DS??? gamecube has crisp cd-quality music! the games all run on CDs, remember? sorry i'm being a giant nerd here
The sense of authentic timing in this is incredible. Especially the loading screen after agreeing to brew the potion. The way it fades. The way the ambience continues into the darkness for a couple beats before being cut off suddenly. It's the small things.
I absolutely love this and the original Worthikids animation Great job on the loading screen especially, love the details but sadly, this animation has an association in my mind to another video that I won't soon forget
As someone who is currently playing through Okami on definitely real hardware, I half expected to see a brush technique used as part of the brewing process.
Wow didn't expect to see you animate one of my favorite animations from Worthikids, Wizard beer but it's amazing how you did this, I love this, thank you.
Don’t take my word for it 😅. It’s not quite accurate to the gamecube, I just titled it after finishing the animation which was my main focus, so thanks for the compliment!
Thanks everyone for the likes and comments!!
P.S. I know the style isnt all that accurate to the gamecube 😅, I mostly took inspiration from it and thought it’d make for a good title and I’ll be more accurate in the future! ^^
It's fine 😊 nostalgia kinda blends things together anyway so it works
Yeah, it feels more like the DS.
Which in a way, was just a portable 64/game cube ;)
It is fitting for Gamecube, it's just more like the shitty licensed games that released on the system, which is more fitting to the Wizard Beer concept. Lmao
(In the best way possible)
Looks good tho
mmmmm clickbait. calling it a DS game would be more beneficial anyway because more people remember the ds and the 3ds than the GameCube
"Coming to an EShop near you; except it won't, because it's CLOSED!"
🏴☠️
This made me chuckle
Ah yes, the beloved GameCube ESHOP
GameCube on eshop, what a joke
"AND THE BEER IS SECRET"
Worthikids fanbase is so goddamn big nowadays. The little giant deserves it
I love that it's an unwritten rule that no matter what, when someone makes a fake game with dialogue options, you always have to have the unseen player hover over making the "incorrect" dialogue choice before clicking the "correct" dialogue choice.
It’s called dramatic tension!!!
Still waiting for version when they choose no and the "game" will play out completely differently or will ignore your refusal and play exactly how it should.
@@Kyumifunit’s definitely happened lololol
I could be wrong, but does that come from the pokemon anime?
I love wizard lean
Lizard wean
wizarn lead
neal draziw
nizard leaw
“Ignore what the 🦆ing bottle says.”
The abrupt loading screen is so good lol
This is dope af, though I'd say it's closer to a DS game. The aesthetic reminds me a lot of Phantom Hourglass or Ghost Trick.
screen orientation makes me think of j2me tbh
@@line888togheyhenom2some j2me games did pull off 3d, and if you were working with brew then you would be able to do 3d far easier
100% nds
@@line888togheyhenom2 j2me games very rarely did any 3d although I think a few did, brew absolutely did 3d though
Same I thought 3ds or ds
Feels more like something between N64 and dreamcast. Sound quality is gamecube level though so kudos to getting that right.
tbf, it kinda looks like that one fairly oddparents game on gc
Looks more like its between n64 and gamecube level of graphical impressivity
Something like the early GameCube games that were ports/reworks from the N64 like Animal Crossing
To me it reminds more of a 3ds game. With the low resolution textures but more modern lighting techniques.
so dreamcast
Dreamcast
Man this reminds me of like when someone does a cover of a song and they really put their own oomph on it instead of trying to sound similar, this is great

Still, great work though! You did well either way!
Buffs:

I like yours better
Nerfs:
Wears out after an hour
Withdrawal FX:
Blurry vision for 1 hr
This meme has definitely become the new Steamed Hams of WorthitKids animation.
I feel like the only thing missing to make it look truly authantic are the black bars that appear during cut-scenes to make them look more "cinematic".
so this is where major cloog lives
I just know worthikids will love this
When the beer slowly rose out, I was half-expecting CERVEZA CRISTAL
The owl didn't truly assault him 9/10
THE ROTATING OWL IS TOO GOOD
I'd play this. The animations look so good! The bounciness of the wizard, the way he showcases one of his owls like it's an item, it's all class!
Me too. On the topic of items, what's the other item the lad has in Inventory besides six Hops? It looks like a little Golden Owl.
this is so nostalgic! the silent loading screen and little hud icons when you enter a new screen really did it for me!
yeah honestly i think you hit every retro nintendo aesthetic except gamecube, like the 8-bit-sounding title screen and the music at 0:48 sounding like it's coming from a handheld cartridge like GBA or DS??? gamecube has crisp cd-quality music! the games all run on CDs, remember? sorry i'm being a giant nerd here
Yea for real this is not what GameCube games looked or sounded like
"So this is where Major Cloog lives"
The sense of authentic timing in this is incredible. Especially the loading screen after agreeing to brew the potion. The way it fades. The way the ambience continues into the darkness for a couple beats before being cut off suddenly. It's the small things.
*So this is where Major Cloog lives: 32 edition*
1:"So this is where major cloog lives"
its a bit too low poly to really be gamecube like
This is closer to a DS game than a GameCube game.
So this is where major cube lives
I absolutely love this and the original Worthikids animation
Great job on the loading screen especially, love the details
but sadly, this animation has an association in my mind to another video that I won't soon forget
this feels more like ds than game cube tbh
This is like the perfect in between of GameCube and Gameboy Advance... So DS visuals.
Put both his old wizard hands into that brew
This reminds me of the Wind Waker Sequals on the DS. This is a major compliment by the way.
Kinda subbed to you on a whim but man was it worth it
What a strange aspect ratio for a game to be running in
Feels way more like a DS game but dang is it still great!
I genuinely hope the guy that made that video knows and appreciates all the crazy crap like this that spawned solely because his work was that epic.
As someone who is currently playing through Okami on definitely real hardware, I half expected to see a brush technique used as part of the brewing process.
Swap out the 8 bit music at the start + the other 8 bit sounds and replace the GC Loading icon with something more game specific and you've got gold
I’ve seen the Major Cloog video so many times I was expecting him to say “I GROOM MINORS!!!”
This is so beyond charming and beautiful it melts my heart seeing this! So talented
This is honestly awesome
love the glass clink sound effects
"so this where Master Cloog lives...." The Videogame™
Absolutely legendary
That was good!
This is amazingly done! Love the use of cel shading and the details
this was unnecessarily well done
but seriously im super inspired by this
Wow didn't expect to see you animate one of my favorite animations from Worthikids, Wizard beer but it's amazing how you did this, I love this, thank you.
this is legitimately amazing.
Congrats on making me nostalgic for a game I never played /pos
Oh my gosh, I just love that you made this
Just because you made a worthikids game, i already love you.
This is Fantastic!! Incredible work and attention to detail!
This slaps!
"Coming to a Toys-R-Us near you; except it won't because it's CLOSED"
WE BREW IT AND ITS GOOD AND ITS DELICIOUS AND ITS MADE OF HOPS
Do a major cloog version
You got the slightly overly long loading screens between cutscenes in the exact same location and models perfect
Why does this look like one of those fun point and click games.
looks great, but it looks more like something between the ps1 and the dreamcast, but not quite like the ds
Bold for this PS2 game having a Gamecube logo on the loading screen
worthikids fandom is so talented.
Oh I hope Worthikids saw this cuz this is fantastic!
I hope Ian sees this!!
THEY KEEP GETTING BETTER AND BETTER THIS IS THE BEST ONE
This looks so awesome !!
You nailed it! It feels just like an old Gamecube game!
Just like Dragon's Lair
this is more ps1 then game cube
This is amazing!
awesome work
I love those lightning effects
Funnily enough sent me straight back to my DS days
This has gotten so meta and I love it
That was incredible
Ah takes me back to the good old days of Okage Shadow King
Normalize portable pocket owls
i read the title of the video wrong and thought
"hey this doesn't look like Gameboy, this is like Gamecube"
Then i reread the title and AMAZING!
This fucks so hard 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It is a horrifying reminder of my age that people of this newer generation think games in like 2003 looked like games from 1995.
Great Job Shay! You even got matching music.
The music is by Worthikids! it's from the original animation, except the song at the beginning
I'm glad I found your channel I love your videos so much! So nostalgic and weird in the best way haha
So this is where Major Cloog lives
never played a gamecube game so i'll have to take your word for it.
however, the animation is quite impressive.
Don’t take my word for it 😅. It’s not quite accurate to the gamecube, I just titled it after finishing the animation which was my main focus, so thanks for the compliment!
"Coming to GameCube, expect it won't, because it's N64!"
I got a weird tinge on nostalgia watching this
This looks more like an early DS game than anything on the GameCube
This is cool as hell
This is amazing lmao
A lot of us would unironically play this
I’m obsessed with this
So epic!!
Homebrew
Now make it with major groom
So this is where Major Cloog renders in...
This is incredible!!!
0:58 - CERVEZA CRISTAL
blown away by this
