I like how he was genuine enough not to force the reconnecting with his dad story line. He didn't feel his dad in there, and that's okay. His dad would've wanted Bret to find himself instead.
Some stuff I wanna say: 1. This series is 30 Days with Bretman. It isn't 30 days in the forest. 2. People are complaining about how the end part of this Forest Challenge was a letdown. I honestly think we feel that because we are just so used with "dramas" on series like this with influencers who fake a lot of stuff to make things more exciting which Bret was never up to for. I think the show was just realistic for a non professional hiker etc,. 3. This is FREE content. So sit back and enjoy.
The stuff Brett did is already impressive... Husking coconut, making fire without lighter, hiking without trail. Watch other survival reality shows, so many can't even use a bolo machete effectively
Honestly I have trouble watching Bretman sometimes because he is so perfect. He's equal parts masc & fem, he's kind & can be savage, he's funny but also self aware, cocky yet humble, rich but giving, handsome but at the same time beautiful, effortlessly cool but also goofy and dorky at times, independent but loves his family...I just can't sometimes. It makes me feel sad that I'll never know him.
I don’t see Bretman as the most “perfect” “unproblematic” influencer. I see him as the most human one. He keeps to himself but at the same time he’s very open with us and genuinely cares about us (his followers). I don’t follow a lot of celebrities or influencers never did care for them but I’ve always followed Bret and I have since he was in highschool he’s always been the same more mature but the same.
His friend called him a narcissist but I feel like he’s not and just loves himself. He’s very kind hearted even with all the swearing n shit he still cares for others and narcissistic ppl only care for themselves
