Good luck with operation fella hope all went well for you
The introduction and end video clips are so much better than your previous intro - This looks far more professional.
Thank you got a couple more already with the only one but yes this one is much better ☺️
All the best to your for the operation and recovery and thanks as always for sharing your experiences
Great episode, I wish you luck in your operation, hope it resolves the problem for you.
Good luck for the op mate. Tanks are looking amazing as always 👍🏻
I Did My Water Change as Well Mick on My Aquarium. One of these Days Im Going to Get Me a Absolutely MASSIVE Tank Too.

All good mate at home now recovering 👍🏻 thanks for watching
Good luck with your surgery brother try not to worry I'm sure everything's going to be okay back up in no time👍👍👍
Top notch! All of your tanks are absolutely beautiful.
Can't wait to have my own home and have the same aquariums as yours. Thank you for inspiring us mate.
Hope everything goes well I enjoy your videos very much and so do my kids keep up the good work mate
Thank you and thanks for watching ☺️
All the best for the Op mate
Great video as usual, what sand do you use and do you have any problems with stagnation
Mick, you’re wasting
away mate😂👍 I wrote this at the start of the video didn’t realise you was having problems. I also have problems with acid reflux. I’ve had MRI scans the lot My problem is cysts I’ve got them in my liver also it’s scary when you’re having problems like this isn’t it, you’ll be alright mate the fish will keep you on an even keel Gives you something else to think about, and they’re very relaxing, are they not
I've only ever seen one in the flesh bigger than 4in. I bought 15 couple years ago and not a single one survived
Bonjour, le système de filtration est vraiment impressionnant. 💙💙💚💚💙💙
Just finished the video! 🔥 as always but got to say mate! Get that 10 foot tank sumped and then have nothing to do with ND again! Not worth the stress is it! Bet they was quick enough when you was buying that 8 foot tank though weren’t they! All the best in operation
Goto do my filters tomorrow mate horrible job. I'll just call in sick at work and do it 😄
Good luck with the Opp get back soon
I've always thought you had to get the water close to the same temperature before adding it to the tank, which is a pain when dealing with larger tanks, running straight off the tap and adding a water treatment straight in would be much easier. Doesn't it stress the fish, do you just let the heaters slowly bring it back up and do you have a lower limit where you don't let it drop below?
Hope the op went well by the way and really enjoying your videos.
Hi mate , great videos ,love watching them , question for ya , do you just add cold water to the tank if so how much does the temp drop by and any noticeable difference with the fish , thanks
Hey mate thanks for watching. Yes cold tap straight in only do like 50% don’t do any more. They get a little slower but only for a couple of hours and then they are fine my tanks got down to about 20-21. Also depends what fish you are keeping fish like discus may not like it
Hey mate thanks for reply , yeah I got american cichlids jd oscar firmouth green terror mccaw cichlid etc couple plecs green phantom, I'll give it a goi sick of changing from the outside tap to the kitchen tap for warmer water, just checking that this is even OK in the winter when colder water , thanks again for the reply look forward to ya next video , could do with access to some of them shops yiu go to but in isle of man so a bit difficult
No probs mate yes ween ur fish on to it start with 10% first week then %20 then so on mate do it slowly. Yes I couldn’t deal with that mate to much hard work getting it the right temp.
Ha ha, I will do it.I'll give it a go . Thanks again, good luck with the op 👍
Tanks look great ,yep you are mad about straight cold water fill up lol 😆 do u use stress coat or tap safe stuff
☺️ tap safe and cold water strait in 👍🏻
Good luck mic with the op mate
Good luck with your op, reflux is normally just unpleasant ( i`ve had it for years ) but it can cause some pretty serious secondry issues so you`re doing the right thing getting it sorted, not worth taking chances where health is concerned.
Have you had any issues keeping multiple Bichirs in 1 tank?, i`ve got 2 in a 7ft x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2, local shop has just had a large Ornatipinnis brought in by a customer very tempted but not sure if there will be problems with the other two.
Thanks mate appreciate it had a hernia in the end I’m at home now recovering. I am keeping loads together atm no issues at all as long as the are simular size mate.
Haven't completed video yet so if you've said it already sorry.....when will the 10ft be drilled and sumped and would you ever do a plywood tank???
Hey mate no probs. Yes not done yet still waiting on nd to come and do it. And yes absolutely I have got big plans for my next place. The plan is to build a studio for all my fish 👍🏻
That's been happening to me for 10 years and never even heard of it 😆 hope everything went well in the op
Thanks mate had the opp done had a herni in my throat which was causing it all. At home now recovering. ☺️
Mick I’ve had loads of ebjd’s . They are a pain in the Wallett . Over past 3 years I’ve had at least 12 and only 1 grew out to adult size . Weak genes so any stress kills them . If you have a spare small tank grow your remaining one in that on his own .
Good luck with your Opp 👍
Heal up well and don't strain the hernia once fixed
Hopefully you will get this message mate,I'm really struggling to get more than 1 arowana to live together, any help or advice 😉
The mic 🔥🔥🔥
Hope op goes well. Shame you’ve not got the sump on your big tank done.
I've tried 3 times with electric blue jack demsey and acara. Never managed to keep them alive more than a few weeks. I've given up. Don't know why shops are still selling them, never heard any success stories with them.
I’ve got a electric blue jack and a standard jack and my standard jack has absolutely battered the electric! I’m expecting it to die off soon
In my experience they are super territorial and one should just keep one of them not more together sadly also I lost a few and I managed with just keeping one electric with 6 loaches and angels 12
@@malc0lmx0 yeah these two are real tiny at the minute but the aggression in the standard jack is something else!! Will give my Oscar’s a run for their money when he’s big enough to go in with them
Never had luck with electric blue Jack's or electric blue acaras
Mick I like that hoody where’s it from ?
Also is this quite old only cos I know you’ve been in hozzy a couple of weeks ago
Thanks mate it’s a real old one it’s was from asos had it years it’s for all the dirty fish stuff ☺️👍🏻
where can I buy a 8 foot tank like yours?
I got this one from nd aquatics
Another great video mate. Shot in the dark, but I see a silver arowana today in local fish shop about 2ft long with damaged spine, in desperate need of a home if you know anyone?
Hey mate thanks for watching. That’s a hard one mate they get so big and puts lots of people of you need a pond for these guys at 2-3 years old. I don’t know anyone atm. Sorry mate
@@MicksFishUk thanks anyway
Yes they dies easily I have one left. I only saw one big one I shouldn’t brought him years ago
Nd not being to good with this mate are they ?
Really don’t know what is going on atm I know they are real busy but just want my tank up and running
Nice
hi any new videos please haven't seen any for ages
Personally mick I don’t like my tanks to look to sterile. I like a bit of green a bit of growth on the rocks and wood I like the natural look yours are a bit too clinical for me beautiful fish and lovely tanks though👍
When are you gonna learn to call them Bichirs and not Bichirs 😳
Lol just the way I have said it for years ☺️
