I can’t believe I JUST now found your channel!!! I’ve been binge watching you for about 3 days now....I feel like I’m catching up with a good friend I haven’t seen in years. You’re so honest and relatable which I appreciate. Especially during these times. I hope your comments have been kinder lately. Thank you continually sharing with us. You have been a joy to watch. I’m deemed an essential as well...Animal Pharmaceutical Employee...so unfortunately I’m working but I’m grateful that I still have a job to go to because I know many can’t say that right now. Thank you for being you. Can’t wait to get to know you better. Sending you love from STL 💕❤️💕😘
Kimberlee M omg I was just about to write a comment with almost the exact same thing you said.. I just found her channel yesterday and have been watching her videos every since.. I love how honest and dedication to saving us as much as possible!!! She’s amazing!!!
I am in Denver and are stores are really bare. You can’t find canned good unless you go first thing in the morning. We also have to wash all groceries before they come in the house. All pantry items stay in the garage for 3 days unless we need it, then I have to use Clorox wipes on them. All produce gets washed with soapy water etc. it stinks! I only go to the store if absolve necessary. Otherwise we use Amazon fresh. I have asthma so the less exposure the better.
Lisa 82 we are doing the same! I wipe everything down with Clorox wipes before I bring it in the house and all fruits / fresh veggies get washed with soapy water for 20 seconds each. They have advised the virus stays on plastics for up to 72 hours before it degrades.
Central Texas here, stores are looking much better. Still very little toilet paper, you have to be diligent to find it. But the shelves were looking much better this morning when I went out. Thank you for the videos, so need them now that I'm home so much more, I look forward to them and you are always the first I watch!! Stay healthy and as safe as possible - to everyone reading this!!! 💕💕
Myself and my husband are self isolating as I am 69 and he is72 with COPD. My daughter and son-in-law have been getting our shopping and have said the supermarkets are not to bad but there are limits of the amount you can buy on certain items. Stay safe. Love from England 🇬🇧
I'm trying to stay out of the stores, so I don't know what the shelves look like (Eastern Washington). I'm using Instacart delivery sort of like I use local restaurant pickup - those are local people who are working hard doing their job and glad to have one. I make sure I tip well, show my appreciation and treat them like the heroes they are!
I agree. The large reese's peanut butter eggs are the best. IMO, it's the thin coating of chocolate and the proportionally larger amount of peanut butter. The regular reese's cups have thicker chocolate which I think is yucky, and they and the smaller eggs, both have a smaller proportion of peanut butter. (Honestly, I wish I could just get the peanut butter filling with maybe a tiny amount of chocolate. )I tried to order them from my Walmart but they were out of those as well as many other things. What they do have, they are limiting to 2, especially for canned items, bread, soda, and dairy, and maybe other things, too.. Fore xample, tried to order peach yogurt and it was a limit of 2. They are also out of ground beef. Not sure whT the situation is for other meats. After I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to decide what to get, they didn't have a pickup slot, lol. That's okay, I will try Trader Joe's, which I hear usually has a line waiting to get inside, and wait another couple of weeks for Walmart.
Eggs and fresh chicken are hard to come by. Toilet paper, I haven't seen in the store in 3 weeks. It's so random as to when things are in stock. So far, we aren't going without anything. We are very thankful.
I need to go back to the store soon and I've been dreading it. I feel the same way - like I should just go and not overwhelm the delivery services when I'm perfectly capable - I'm still a little freaked out though. That chorizo stuff looked 😍
I have gone to walmart when they first open and they are not busy at all. I try to make it in and out under 30min which is hard because of how big it is. But also if you know of any smaller shops to get meat and veggies that saves me time in walmart too. I just get meat from my local meat shop.
Glad you could get things you needed. I went to the store here yesterday and there were definitely still some things that were low-ish on stock compared to previous times, but maybe that's just how stock is being kept at the moment to stop people stockpiling. I love seeing what others can get in their shops. Largely the foods in the US are exactly the same as in the UK but it's the subtle differences that fascinate me. My husband's from Texas and we eat TexMex style foods all the time and have just about nailed our favourites but it's taken some time. I'm still the designated family member to go to get groceries here too and I just tag it on with my days working so it's not adding to my trips out of the house during lockdown. Take care and stay safe.
Hi Jen & family and of course the handsome Murphy🐶...we are currently on Stay at Home and work safe here in San Antonio Tx...Since im in the high bracket since im on Dialysis...i just go to my treatments and was going to the grocers, but im heading towards ordering and home delivery option...It's very difficult on my mental health but im very strong in Faith and this is what keeps me going and of course my 2 Chihuahuas...😆🎶🎧🎼🍴 Stay safe and thanks for sharing....many blessings to all....
Hi Jen, keep being you and don't worry about the negatives. I look forward to and enjoy watching all your videos. Be strong, push through and remember you aren't alone. AND I love Reese peanut eggs too. Can't eat just one.
Wow, your stores are well stocked! Our stores (GReensboro, NC) are hit or miss. I caught the TP delivery at Costco last week. I'm stocked up on meat and cheese, so really just need to go to the store when we run out of fresh stuff. I need to do another freezer inventory; I was enjoying minimizing my grocery shopping then we ended up stocking up on some things. Doing a lot more cooking from scratch, and making do with what I have on hand. Stay safe! If I trust anyone to have good sense on COVID and food safety, it's you! ❤️
We are in Lancaster Pa and the grocery stores can’t keep meat and paper products on the shelves) most Walmart’s around here are picked over so I have been creative on what my meals are )
I'm close to Chambersburg, PA. It is so bare around here, it's scary. I haven't seen meat in weeks. When I do go, there is one piece of meat and three people circling it. It's almost like they want us to fight over it. LOL
Our stores in CA have been pretty bare in the paper goods section, but mostly everything else is available..., just have to make adjustments and substitutions where necessary! Thanks for a great grocery haul and plan, gave me some good ideas!
In NYC, I find that we have food in the places I shop. Shoprite, Trader Joe’s, and BJs. You may find less abundance in product, but they have. Shoprite seems to have some priority with shipments as far as supermarkets go. Not sure if it’s the volume of people they serve or if they picked up a bulk of suppliers when Pathmark closed. When people talk about other markets, they are saying they’re bare. I haven’t found that level of scarcity at Shoprite. Trader Joe’s gets five trucks a day. You may have to wait a bit if you’re hours after the last truck, but they’ll have some stuff.
Hello Jen I want to thank you so much for doing your part in this pandemic I also want you to know that someone in Charlotte North Carolina sending you a virtual hug and has said a prayer for you and your family I've been following you for a while now give yourself a pat on the back you're doing a phenomenal job being a mother a blogger a nurse caretaker a wife you are a phenomenal woman God bless stay safe can't wait for next video
I am avoiding grocery stores. Many groceries offer delivery service but for large grocery store need to make your online shopping at least 2 weeks in advance. Others are even difficult to find a slot in a month's time. So many are opting for small village grocery stores which are also offering delivery.
Bakery and the bulk bins are closed at my grocery. 🤷♀️ I guess to have less people touch your food. Restaurants still do take out though as well they sell some of their produce and specialty mixes. Stay safe! 👏 for all healthcare workers in these times.
Yes! Those pb eggs!!! I love them so much. Try the pieces one too. Love. Our stores finally got meat in last week. I was thrilled. I couldn't find chicken in any form (except the rotisserie) for weeks. And they were on sale. So I got plenty. No longer sad panda. Otherwise, things are still hit or miss, depending on the store. You also have to be 18 to buy rubber cement...at least you did about 10 years ago when I worked at an office supply store. lol
I haven’t been to the store in over two weeks but doing a huge Walmart pick up tomorrow in preparation for stay-at-home Passover. Thankfully the Walmart an hour away is pretty well stocked. Will be tipping the employee well! So thankful for store/delivery workers right now and hoping they’re getting bonuses!
Our Walmart is absolutely decimated but Wegmans is well stocked and beautiful once again. There are limits on things but that’s ok I was able to get all that I needed.
My husband has been doing the shopping, he said stores were better stocked this week (Long Island NY). Hot dogs and fiber one wraps are the two things we can’t get week after week. Our grocery delivery places are all booked for at least two weeks here.
Hi Jen if you happen to go in a Dollar Tree they have nacho cheese sauce in a 9 oz. can (with other chip dips) and I discovered it a couple months ago. It is the best and your hubby may like it and it is definitely a good price. It is the only kind I buy now and I pick up several cans at a time. TFS stay safe. Cheryl
I went to the grocery today for the first time in two weeks. (Wore gloves, kept my distance from people.) Out of all paper goods, hand soap, disinfecting wipes/spray, almond milk, and lunchmeat (I'm guessing because kids are home and need quick lunches). Looks like you were able to get most of what you want/needed. Stay safe! 😷
We just grocery shopped a few hours ago Went to a Walmart neighborhood market and it had absolutely everything we were looking for plus we scored TP no problem I live in a small town in MO and I’m not sure we even have 1 documented Corona case yet 🤷🏻♀️ We have shut down all non essential businesses but honestly life is pretty normal here, I haven’t noticed much difference other than school being canceled 🤷🏻♀️
I love those Ahi Tuna Steaks! Jamie Oliver makes a crust on them with sesame seeds. I tried it, and it's pretty gosh darn good! I put some yum yum sauce and sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping for anyone who wants it, but it's delicious by itself. Take care!!
Hey, Jen We live in Wisconsin, about 35 miles from Madison in a town of about 4500. Our stores sure don't have what yours have! Bread is limited to one bread item per shopper. Tortillas are hit and miss. Chicken is hard to find. And, living in the Dairy State,,,,, cheese is almost always out of stock. ?? Of course no Clorox (or generic) wipes, or hand sanitizer anywhere. No TP, either. Eggs have been very hard to find and just the eggs that are normally 99 cents a doz or less, are now $2.99-$3.99 per dozen. Half and Half is also hard to come by. They rarely have all the % milks. Canned goods are always in short supply. My daughter lives in Madison and the big stores there also have shortages. So, consider yourself lucky with all you have available! That is pretty amazing!!
Still out of cleaning supplies, and low on toilet paper but everything else is kinda stocked limit on meats and eggs. (California ) First time watching, we are all in this together, thank you for all you do🙏 stay safe
Only been to the grocery store a few times and as of yesterday it’s still very picked over here. Milk is one gallon per person as well as lots of other things here which are one per person. With 8 people in the house one gallon does not last long. This will make me have to stop daily for milk. Finally found toilet tissue yesterday which was Fantastic! Walmart still has so many shelves that are empty here. Day by day though, we will get through. I’m from Northeast Florida. Love your channel !
That jalapeño and habanero cheese is soooo good. Its a little spicier than regular pepper jack. I love it on a toasted croissant with ham and the great value zesty ranch. I literally ate that every day for lunch my whole pregnancy last year.
Wal-Mart is looking pretty rough and pick up times are a week out. Hy-Vee still has many options and pick up times are plentiful. I'm grateful that a friend picks up for me.
Lucky...great haul! Everything looks great, my markets still scarce and limitations. Thanks for posting your videos..keeping me busy and inspired. Blessings to you and your family.
Thank you for not hiding a store bought pizza when you run out of time! It makes us remember that you’re totally normal just like us & we can definitely relate. Our stores are slowly but surely stocking back up so can’t wait to watch your pasta recipe with sundried tomatoes sounds delicious! 🙂
So coming from a medical background...I’m curious of your protocol with your groceries. Do you wipe things down before bringing them in the house? I’ve heard so much confusing info.
I would generally say it doesn’t matter. As of today research shows that it’s not very common to contract the virus through surfaces although traces of it can live on objects. I would imagine if it’s on your packaging enough to get you sick you were already exposed while you were in the store anyways.
It was recently reported that it doesn’t live on cardboard. It likes hard surfaces. Even then it only lasts up to three days. Think cans, plastic, etc. How often do you use them almost immediately. As a precaution you should always wash can tops around the opening before you open them just to remove factory dirt and dropping remnants. Afterward wash your hands.
@@mariahr8595 My mom is a nurse and definitely doesn't do that, actually thinks that that is going too far. Every single person we know who has it or has had it, has been in contact with someone. No one got it from their groceries. Theoretically possible, but not very likely. My mom has actually been in contact with people who have had it and didn't get sick. She tested negative. Which isn't to say that you won't get it if you touch someone or sit next to someone, but it doesn't necessarily happen either. I guess my mom got lucky, which is good, because my dad has a chronic lung disease.
Also, so far I have only had one of the nail polishes in that brand not work for me. It was a coral color. I have 5 others in that brand and they work well!
You are very lucky to find so much variety for sure. here in Michigan, people are keeping shelves bare. I feel comfortable going to the grocery store (like your HiV) sunday morning just after they open. I got on the scale yesterday to find I have gained 5 pounds from not being on the go all day and comfort food..so trying to add more veggies and less comfort this week LOL.
friends here that use CPAP machines are having a hard time finding distilled water. Flour/yeast/bread/frozen bread/eggs/black beans/rice/meats are slim pickings if not bare shelves.
Sister.. chin up!! You are wayyyy more loved than not! You enrich our lives with knowledge, how to’s, tips and advice. Keep on keeping on and slap those ugly comments in the face! 😚
In Eagle River, Alaska we have been able to get everything for the most part, but there are limits on things like eggs and milk, which makes feeding my family of 6 a little challenging. Thank you for the video!
The stores are out of a lot here in Texas where we live. It’s so sad to see the shelves empty or with just a few things., We still have quite a lot of produce... It surely will get better soon.I stay at home and do my crafts which I enjoy.. stay safe my sweet Jen🥰
I don't remember the last time I went to the grocery store. We've designated my husband as the person to go to any stores as needed. He's only been a couple of times. I still have to go into work (every other day)....Those Chobani S'mores are soooo good.
Our Krogers was bare, I mean there was no meat, bacon, bread, etc. It looked like a store that was closing! I was shocked because the other stores were out of certain things but basically well stocked. Most stores here were out of bacon and heavy cream, weird. Thanks & Blessings ~Sidney
Our stores are getting a little better with Fuller shelves. The stores are closing earlier. Still a lot of sanitizing and different ways of entering the stores. I'm so eating and cooking mainly from pantry and freezer.
I live on the border of minnesota/iowa my stores are fine besides toliet paper and disinfectant wipes luckily. I stocked up and so did my dad who lives across the hall from me so we are okay! I hope you and your family are okay!
I’m jealous of your grocery haul Jen 😂😂....I’ve got health issues and a compromised immune system so my hubby has been doing the grocery shopping the last 2 weeks.....I just put the basics on the list because he always gets the wrong things 🙄🙄. I will seriously be excited to go grocery shopping when the world is “normal” again 😳😳
In NYC. Depends what we are looking for and what was on the truck. My husband manages a grocery store so he often brings home things we want. Honestly we don't really need much. We have food but you know we are spoiled here in the west. Trying not to go out.
I got those big tortillas recently too for $2! I thought they were made bc of the scarcity of bread right now bc I’ve never seen them. Love them! I got the salsa ones too. Stay well Jen! 💓
The sensationail polishes are really good. You’ll love it! I haven’t been to the store in like three weeks, I’m 7 months pregnant and my hubby goes to the store for me, I kind of miss it lol but last time he went he found everything on our list, even TP!
The gel nail polish is amazing! I bought their kit for gel nails on Amazon and I love it and I just buy different colors at Walmart. They have more colors online !
Central Texas - 50 mi north of Austin: Stores actually have more this week than last week. The shoppers seem more relaxed about the task. I am seeing more gloves and masks on shoppers (me included.) Here there are usually waste cans near the cart corrals in the parking lots. That is where I dispose of my mask & gloves after I load the groceries in the back of my vehicle. Friends, if you are using gloves - it's a good idea to toss them after each store you visit. Don't bring germs into your car on the gloves. @Jen Chapin is a nurse and may have even better tips on this.
Here in San Diego we are still under Stay at home order, it has now been expanded till May 1st. My friend told me she has to have a note to go back and forth to work, else she gets stopped. She works an essential job. Still can't find or order any wipes. Lunch meat, hot dogs and cheese are hard to find.
Hi Jen! First of all, thank you for all you do. We love our nurses. I hear you all the time say “Connor asked for... Kera asked for...”. Do you ask them before you go to the store what they want, do you have a shopping list that they add items to, or do they just mention things during the week and you remember? I need a good system for that.
Here in NJ toilet paper is still hard to find.....purchase limits on meats, eggs, cleaning products, water. Everything else is pretty well stocked. As we are at 16,600 cases and climbing stores are using security guards to control the amount of customers in the supermarkets at one time.
Great rock art kit..i tried doing rocks from my yard with my grandboys but my acrylics wouldn’t stick to my yard river rocks...let us know how the kit works out please.
our grocery stores [walmart and aldi is where I go at least lol] seemed back to pretty much normal this week. I'd say a few things looked like theyre in demand [like rice] but there was more to pick from and it's not like you couldn't find ANY. Toilet paper was still out at my stores (a few small packs of the super cheap rolls at walmart though! but very bare), and frozen veggies seem to still be a popular item people are picking up but other than that.. everything looks better! I wonder if it's bc of the limits on items and/or all the panic-buyers (I swear we had 3 waves of them lol) are stocked! Probably a mix of both, but that's where we're at here in central PA! :D
Our stores in Dayton, Ohio were barren but they are pretty much restocked now. Pasta is still low and some bread but meat and produce are good. TP is coming back also 😂. Thank t was scary there for a week or two,
Things seem to be getting a bit back to normal. They are limiting quantities of some items so that seems to help. Plenty of produce, meat & bread this week. Only thing I couldn’t get was flour. I am in the Houston, Texas area
I live in SE Ohio . Shelves has been fairly scarce but I went to Kroger and arrived right at opening and they had basically everything in stock .... well I didn't check TP because I scored some last week.
Here in Phoenix, no all purpose flour anywhere, and have to hunt for eggs, milk, butter and bread by going from store to store. And the obvious is no where-tp, paper towels, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer and no baby wipes! Hardly any food on Hispanic food sections salsa etc!!!
Hey Jen👋🏼We,t too, had to replace our Canon printer ink recently, but Costco was out. So we tried Carrotink.com and got 2-5pks (each pack contained B&W plus color cartridges) for just over $30. Shipped fast too!
Here in Massachusetts the deli and bakery at my store are closed and the shelves pretty picked over. No eggs at all for three weeks running. May to to invest in a few chickens myself here soon! Lots of bread and great produce but no oatmeal or flour. It takes several times to several stores to find what i need. Every one wearing their gloves and homemade masks during the "senior citizen hours" at the grocery store. Doing our best to do as we are told but I miss my precious granddaughter!
Can't find bacon anywhere , alit of food n meat is off the shelves still n TP is hard to find , bread n tortillas out, milk 1- per person no tissues, it's rediculous n sad out there !!! Daughter in- law n Son ate doing my shopping for hubby n I we're Seniors n our Drs have express do not be out there at all!!! We've been staying home now 3 wks going on 4 tomorrow it's a bit hard but, we have to medical reasons.... Stay safe everyone 🙏❤️🙏
I love that you explain WHY you buy things and we get a meal plan and meal prep videos! Love them all!!

Omg - the Downey Old Spice!!! I bought some & it smells SOOOOOOO good! Thanks for the tip!
Are you washing your grocery’s before you put them away?? As the virus can live on plastic paper, wood, metal, steel, surfaces for days xx
I save the jars from the Oui yogurt for candles or bobby pins. They are too cute to throw away.
I always save those jars and haven't found a good use for them yet, this is a good idea! A woman I work with puts little plants in them on her desk 😊
Cindy Danovski I use them for pudding

I haven’t been to the store in over two weeks but doing a huge Walmart pick up tomorrow in preparation for stay-at-home Passover. Thankfully the Walmart an hour away is pretty well stocked. Will be tipping the employee well! So thankful for store/delivery workers right now and hoping they’re getting bonuses!
Our Walmart is absolutely decimated but Wegmans is well stocked and beautiful once again. There are limits on things but that’s ok I was able to get all that I needed.
I loved the Vanilla Choboni creamer. Very yummy!
Stay safe! 😷
We just grocery shopped a few hours ago
Went to a Walmart neighborhood market and it had absolutely everything we were looking for plus we scored TP no problem
I live in a small town in MO and I’m not sure we even have 1 documented Corona case yet 🤷🏻♀️
We have shut down all non essential businesses but honestly life is pretty normal here, I haven’t noticed much difference other than school being canceled 🤷🏻♀️
Also thank you for posting especially during this time , I appreciate you .
We haven't had an issue with groceries really either. There are some sections bare but especially the fresh stuff is fully stocked
Still out of cleaning supplies, and low on toilet paper but everything else is kinda stocked limit on meats and eggs. (California )
First time watching, we are all in this together, thank you for all you do🙏 stay safe
Send some TP to Louisiana!!!! It is unreal in South LA. People have lost their mind. Great meal plan.
You will love the Dawn Power wash ! Great product .
I’ve heard so much confusing info.
becky ray I had the same question for Jen!!
Love the cheddar and sour cream chips!!
I enjoyed your haul so much . Thank you for doing them 💖💖⭐⭐
The keto zuppa toscana is AMAZING! It makes a lot too! I make it often and love it so much!
In Eagle River, Alaska we have been able to get everything for the most part, but there are limits on things like eggs and milk, which makes feeding my family of 6 a little challenging. Thank you for the video!
Your videos are my favourite !
The stores are out of a lot here in Texas where we live. It’s so sad to see the shelves empty or with just a few things., We still have quite a lot of produce... It surely will get better soon.I stay at home and do my crafts which I enjoy.. stay safe my sweet Jen🥰
That is my favorite bread too,
all out where we live!
Interesting!
I don't remember the last time I went to the grocery store. We've designated my husband as the person to go to any stores as needed. He's only been a couple of times. I still have to go into work (every other day)....Those Chobani S'mores are soooo good.
I have only been to our small dairy store (Braums) for the last 2 weeks. I am missing just wandering around Walmart and finding stuff I don't need!!
I’m in Texas, HEB is always usually stocked. That’s where I usually go grocery shop when I need to stock up on food. 🙂
They are better stocked now than last week. Still long lines at Trader Joe’s just to get in. Pavilions was pretty decently stocked
Jimity cricket, I just need tp! Can't wait for your keto video ❤
The marry me chicken aka Sicilian Chicken is a huge favorite in my house. If my family could they would have it every week 😂. You will love it!
I hope you and your family are okay!
same here in NW Iowa
Reece eggs are LIFE!! I hear you!! ❤️👍
Love Rico's nacho cheese!! I suggested that to one lady i watch.🙂🙂 u did good on ur haul!🙂
I bought that Chobani creamer today too. I had a 1.00 coupon. I bought vanilla.
Fyi Deli meat can be frozen. Just be sure it's packaged properly first.
Hi Jen! First of all, thank you for all you do. We love our nurses. I hear you all the time say “Connor asked for... Kera asked for...”. Do you ask them before you go to the store what they want, do you have a shopping list that they add items to, or do they just mention things during the week and you remember? I need a good system for that.
Eileen Koutsuils I have a list on the fridge that keira writes on, I also keep a list in my phone when they ask for items :)
Oh perfect, good idea. Good system. Thanks!! Sorry, wasn’t sure how you spelled Keira.
Here in NJ toilet paper is still hard to find.....purchase limits on meats, eggs, cleaning products, water. Everything else is pretty well stocked. As we are at 16,600 cases and climbing stores are using security guards to control the amount of customers in the supermarkets at one time.
We have very little but we also have heavy traffic from our neighboring states... I live in New Hampshire
I love watching your grocery hauls. Thanks for sharing!
Yay we have a video from jen ❤❤❤
We also bought nutter butters after getting them in the variety fun box. Well played nutter butter!😉
I live in SE Ohio . Shelves has been fairly scarce but I went to Kroger and arrived right at opening and they had basically everything in stock .... well I didn't check TP because I scored some last week.
Looks beautiful!
🐰🌻 thanks Jen take care , be safe 🙏❤️
Do you use the old spice for everyone’s laundry or just Adam’s?
Here in Massachusetts the deli and bakery at my store are closed and the shelves pretty picked over. No eggs at all for three weeks running. May to to invest in a few chickens myself here soon! Lots of bread and great produce but no oatmeal or flour. It takes several times to several stores to find what i need. Every one wearing their gloves and homemade masks during the "senior citizen hours" at the grocery store. Doing our best to do as we are told but I miss my precious granddaughter!
Love your video’s❣️ Did you change purses back?
I love that habanero cheese from Walmart. So good. Great video!
Yay!!! I have been waiting for a new video. Thank you so much
Can't find bacon anywhere , alit of food n meat is off the shelves still n TP is hard to find , bread n tortillas out, milk 1- per person no tissues, it's rediculous n sad out there !!!
