  • THE SURGEON FROZE WHEN HE SAW THE PATIENT'S BIRTHMARK... THE SAME ONE HIS MISSING DAUGHTER HAD...
Dr. Mitchell Lawson stood over the operating table, his hands steady as he focused on the task before him. Years of experience as a top surgeon had given him the ability to shut out distractions and dive deep into the intricacies of saving lives. But today, something was different. His mind, usually sharp and precise, faltered for a moment as he adjusted his position.
The patient was Grace, a young woman brought in after a severe car accident. She had multiple injuries, including internal bleeding. It was a complicated case, but nothing Mitchell hadn’t handled before. However, as he prepared to make a critical incision, something caught his eye-a small, crescent-shaped birthmark on the side of her ribcage.
His breath hitched in his throat. His pulse quickened as he stared at the mark, frozen for what felt like an eternity but was only a few seconds. He knew that mark. It was the same one his daughter, Emma, had-his daughter who had vanished eighteen years ago without a trace.

A story of how twisted one can be to call what she did love it is not even evil it is pure obsession and low self esteem and unadulterated me myself and I pure selfishness. I am happy to know that the writer/writers did not elaborate more on Diana it give us the readers to make our own decisions of her fate brilliantly write. Thank you for sharing it.

"Is it ethical for a surgeon to operate on a patient if he suspects she might be his missing daughter? Personal bias could jeopardize her safety."

Adds a touch of phony to this story. A medical professional would have jumped to that conclusion immediately. Also, per the surgery, there would already most likely have been blood samples stored that he could have used for that purpose.
