I learnt to drive on a zetor 5211. Great little tractors. With a 5'6" drum mower on the back she'd never shy away from days mowing. Amazing what you can do with 50hp from the Czech Republic 👍
Way back in the late 40's as a wee lad in Ontario Canada, I learned to drive on a small 4 cylinder gas Case Tractor. Mostly it was because it was the only one that I could reach the pedals. I enjoy your videos and your bantering.
I do like these tractors. The Deutz Agroprima was not the most common tractor here in Norway, but the MF 300 series was very popular, and many of those tractors are in daily use even today :) Only drove a 360 and a 375 with the gearshifters between my legs so far, but hoping to get a try on maybe a 399 some day :) And I'm a Fiat guy ;)
Can't beat old school deutz air cooled! Fantastic tractors for their time, such a pity they sold out to same, were on par if not better than fendt, everything in them was deutz, well done grassmen as usual..
Grew up first tractor I drove was a 2294 case ih then it was a gaggle of old school magnums. Got a chance to drive a 2394 my uncle bought for a manure pump tractor hauling silage and man it was nostalgic. Even though like you Gareth I’m a die hard Deere fan myself.
We would always have been deutz growing up. Still have a D7807C working away at home. Cousin had a DX90, a 6.30 and a 2wd 4.50 moving then to a 4.57. We by chance had a 390T for a bit and it couldn't have been any worse for us. Think it was just a one off. Deutz all the way now though. Would love that 4.51
nice outfit yous have we have a 2wd D7807C and a dx390 which would have been a smaller model to the 4.51. love the oldschool deutz. is your 7807 4 or 2wd?
@@deutz3904 it's a 2wd. My da had a new 3.90 priced at the time but went with the D7807C, it was only 4 year old at time and was in great condition. She could do with a bit of TLC at the minute though.
My first tractor to in sit in was a 1960 case with no cab and no brakes. Now we have fiat 110-90 beast, claas arion 640,Ford 7810,and our broke down Renault 75-34

My first tractor at silage was an 8011 two wheel drive zetor, but my favorite tractors at silage would have been a john deere 3040 two wheel drive or a two wheel drive Deutz dx 90
Great video!! I love the classics. Is that a 2140 at the end of the video? That was the first Deere ma dad had and it's still going strong after 32 years
Ed Parry Great series .We used to have a MF 188,plastic cab, oversized tyres.Damn that was an animal of a tractor. The inside of the exhaust collapsed one time lifting silage with a single chop jf and it blew the exhaust 20 feet into the air
That just doesn't add up. There's a time warp mixed up in all of that somewhere. My first solo drive was a 1990 ford 7810(series 3 of u don't mind!!) when I was 11, and I'm 37 now. Had a tear in my eye the day my dad traded her in😢
