It's not so much that he's the problem, it's the vocalist stopping short so it sounds like the guitarist is going on too long. The harmonizing being off isn't all on the guitarist by a long shot.

I really wish the guitarist wouldn't sing. Its not that he can't sing, Hes just not that great at accenting or harmonizing in certain parts
