Yeah I kinda view it like drawing. Technically everyone (or almost everyone, I recognize there are exceptions) can take a pencil and make lines on paper, but the quality of the image produced will be drastically different between individuals. Elves are born with the "pencil" of their primal source but that doesn't mean anything regarding their individual skill at using that pencil. Meanwhile, humans are not born with a pencil, and need a primal stone or something of the like to serve as their pencil, except in Callum's case in which case he gained an understanding of the sky arcanum thus gaining a "sky pencil." Which also makes it very fitting that he's great with a regular pencil as well
Ghosting someone you think is a traitor seems like an unsafe move. This way if your traitor comes back they don't get a chance to make their case, but if they take it badly then they can kill everyone in revenge and you can't even see them coming.

This episode was perfectly decent Regardless of how I feel about Rayla, both Ethari and the rest of the village was wrong to banish her. It's like Callum said, "[they] didn't even give Rayla a chance to explain herself". They just judged her before getting all the facts in order and even if she succeeded as they originally wanted her to, she would still be banished simply because she's alive
Especially since Runnan’s flower still floated for a few days after the others fell due to him being in prison. For all the silvergrove knew, Rayla and Runnan could’ve been thrown in jail together. Or the mission had failed for another reason, and Rayla just happened to be the only survivor. If anything, they should want her to come back so she could tell them exactly what happened to the others so that their families and friends can get closure.
I've also thought it's interesting how the moon arcanum deals with illusions vs. reality, and yet this practice of theirs relies so much on judging based on how the situation appears rather than finding out how it really is.
Eh, my guess is that given the amount of time that passed, the only likely outcome they found believable was that she abandoned the others. Recall, Rayla made a fairly big deal about how she could have traveled much faster without Callum and Ezra in the episode where they argued about carrying the egg. Also, I may need to check back, but I think Runaan might have sent a mesage back that Rayla compromised the mission by refusing to kill that one human soldier. If that is the case, that would have set a precedent that she was unreliable and made them more likely to believe she abandoned the mission (which technically she did since the mission was the kill the King and the Crown Prince).
@@josephperez2004 The only message Runaan sent was that he succeeded in killing Harrow. That was the point of the black and red arrow he shot in season one
I love how Amaya and the elf general start out. I'm cishet male, and that's how a lot of my friendships with other cishet men start out. There's an old joke: friendships between men start with a fight, friendships between women end with one. This kind of subverts that old saying in a way.

We,the audience, knows Soren is telling the truth but Claudia doesn't know that and she loves both her brother and her father
You know what’s funny the fact that Janai opened the fire barrier for Kazi means that she didn’t have to walk through the fire but she did so for dramatic purpose
@@TheMrPeteChannelYeah, although I would have liked the series to explore it more, I don't think we should focus solely on his mistake and reduce him to that as a whole character. What he did was terrible, but yes, he's also very sweet :P
Yes. The reveal! Such a magnificent way to have inclusion, without making it such a big deal. We had a strong, driven, powerful leader who happens to be gay. Not A GAY MAN, who does those things on the side. All of Hollywood needs to take notes.
They portrayed it perfectly. Like Runaan is a respected assassin, who loves his husband and daughter. That's his character. He's not a gay character, he's just a character that so happens to be gay
Viren is a narcissist and gaslighting Soren is classic narcissistic behavior. I'm glad they included that to show how narc parents do that to one of their kids.

4:49 Knew you'd like that.
9:46 😮🫢🤭😆 Trust me, the translation is worth it.
10:18 That one was obvious.
11:47 😱
14:47 Poor Elijah, out of tissues.
15:12 Just wait, Elijah, one more season. I won't say more 😷.
16:27 🫣... 🤯 I wonder what Elijah's reaction was to Amaya being called a pet.
18:28 Oh boy, she's going again.
Can I just say I love Elf Callum? It just kills me even more than Human Rayla.
Fun fact!!! We we all about the Tinkerer/Runnan ship when the end credits art dropped all the way back in season 1 ;)
12:53 Two words: Anti-Jimminy Cricket
13:50 Claudia has a feeling that Viren lied to her but she is also playing the part of motherly "peace keeper" and just wants the fight to be over. Besides,in her defense, she wasn't physically there when Viren originally gave Soren the secret mission and she can't just take Soren's word alone for it. We,the audience, knows Soren is telling the truth but Claudia doesn't know that and she loves both her brother and her father
She's literally the bridge keeping the Mage-fam together.
IVE been WAITING FOR AGES
You know what’s funny the fact that Janai opened the fire barrier for Kazi means that she didn’t have to walk through the fire but she did so for dramatic purpose
She’s gonna go nuts over 0704.
Impossible to not like Ethari, he's the sweetest.
He ghosted his foster daughter though.
I just knew when Elijah started reacting to Dragon Prince she would love it (especially when it involves queer characters and queer couples and other cool unique characters!) I absolutely love the Dragon Prince
You should really catch up with this show before it ends because season 7 (the final season 😭 ) is coming out December 19th this year
AAAAHHHHHH I LOVE DRAGON PRINCE
*beware of season 6…*
The tragedy of Ruthari totally blindsided me too, so now I'm rubbing my hands together like a raccoon waiting for the rest of this book's reactions. It's so good.
Elijah is Sad-Phic
Oh wait until she gets to the new season 😂. Anyone else think that she kisses the verosika plush in the background next to her pretending it's mosco?😂❤😂❤ (also I absolutely love the gay/lesbian ships in this show, they are just so cute and sweet)
FINALLYYYYY can’t wait for this one!! 😍
"I'm saphic and I'm sad" PLEASE make that a merch shirt, I would TOTALY buy that!!!
I’m so excited you’ve reacted to this episode!!
This is my favorite episode, I’m so happy she finally saw Runaan and ethari❤ who loves Runaan x ethari 👇🏻
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS EPISODE!!!
5:47 man watching the silvergrove dance scene is so funny after reading bloodmoon huntress (if you know you know just cant say it in case elijah decides to read it)
Ethari only appears in this episode, HE ONLY APPEARS IN A SINGLE EPISODE OF SEASON THREE AND THEN HE ONLY APPEARS IN SEASON SEVEN (at least I hope he appears in season seven, because that season hasn't aired yet)
The way my eyebrows progressively got higher up on my face every time she told us one of her theory’s. She’s good. Not perfect, but good.
I do wonder what Elijah will think of Viren when we go through the whole show. Haha.

Elijah will always hate Viren no matter what happens to him in 5 & 6. There's that one british female reviewer who hated Viren until he finally sacrificed himself to save Soren a SECOND TIME. But I still see Elijah forever hating him.
@@TheMrPeteChannel
My opinion of him did change a little, he definitely messed up… but the reasons he began dabbling in dark magic, I dont blame him for it.
@@TheMrPeteChannel She MIGHT change her mind after the episode
(Spoiler)
"We All Fall Down"
I have been waiting, literally forever for her to finally get to this episode and I am so glad you finally get to get excited about my favorite ships as I do.
The whole ghosting thing is not only cruel, but it’s also pretty impractical when you think about it. I mean, they’re basically allowing what for all they know could be a bitter, vengeful exile run loose through their home completely undetected.
13:17
Soren: “I know I’m not the smartest…”
Elijah: “Yeah.”
15:15 your wish will be granted… in an episode
Runaan tried to kill Rayla because she didn't want him to kill a 10 year old. That happened in season 1.
Everyone forgets Runaan kills people, including children, for a living.
Love this episode. Everything about it. The Sunfire Elves. Rayla's home and what happened to her. Ugh. My heart.
Janai has such a beautiful voice!!! I love her accent!!!!
i think now that ezran isnt around, callum and rayla are subconciously releasing how they feel. Because they are alone now. well...Rayla is obvious lol
Another episode down and many more great episodes to go!
No spoilers.
You have no idea how excited I was to see you react to this one! It's by far my favourite (for obvious reasons haha). Elijah is a Ruthari shipper? 👀
I kinda wonder if the Sunfire Elves having French accents is a bit of a nod to Louis XIV (the Sun King).
Oh! Also, Kazi, the other Sunfire Elf that can translate for Amaya, is non binary and they use they/them pronouns FYI- Have faith Elijah, HAVE FAITH, ITS ONLY UPHILL FROM HEREEEEE-
(Seriously, I feel like so many people saw the Queens sad storyline and went: nope. This obviously gonna be the extent of their gay rep, time to stop watching- There were images of Ethari and the necklace in the credits of Season one! LET. THE. WRITERS. COOK. THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNINGGGGGG **froths on the foam of spoilers I must not share and dies.**)
Its so hard not to spoil itttt 😭
@@TheEditor-03030 Re- Re- Re- Ready Wellingtons. **Shot**
The two creatures that Rayla and Callum ride off on are called a Moonstrider (canine-looking one) and a Shadowpaw.
Ethari appeared at the end of episodes 1 and 8 of the first season.

“Honey, you’ve got a big storm comin’!🕺”
I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TO GET TO THIS ONE. I love Runaan and Ethari with my soul😭
God I can't wait for season 7
@@moon7shinev150 same🙏🏼
I LOVE THIS EPISODE!!!!🙌✨❤ Runaan and Ethari deserve the world 🥺😭🙌✨❤️
The world? Runaan did kill Harrow.
@@TheMrPeteChannel And it saddens me that things ended like this, but he also killed Avizandum. Two things that should not have happened but it was one life for another 🤷😔
Yes yes yessss this episode has SO MUCH in it, still one of my favourite
Ha, I've been waiting for your reaction to this episode since you started this series! Did not disappoint.
Guys next ep is *THE* episode
I love how you react to this show... it's pure joy!
Not only is Rayla the daughter of two fathers...but with the addition of her mother, she's the child of a Polyamorous relationship as well
A quick little note! The Elf who is translating is named Kazi and are in fact non binary!
That's a spoiler
@@TheMrPeteChannelno it's not
@@TheMrPeteChannel it’s not, they never came out or anything they’re just referred to with they/them pronouns throughout the show and in one of the books
