Most points you will find in the US are before there were any tribes. Tribalism was pretty new when Europeans arrived. North America was primarily inhabited with small groups totaling a small population of hunter gathers until about one thousand years ago give or take. Until recently with the end of the ice age the environment in North America over the last 50k years has been extremely harsh. Southern Mexico and Central America was the place to be back then.

@@365headhunter3 whenever they ask if'n yens found anything good, you could always give 'em my morel mushroom hunting reply free of charge. Just say; "nahhh....all I've found is a rain beaten old peckerhead"....That usually gets 'em to steppin'!

Most of what you find has to be from the time before the Iroquois pushed the Miami from northern Indiana.
Not sure when that was. Most of my finds are archaic and woodland so like 3000 to 7000 years old.
