Also once you bring a sand dollar to the surface it only has a few mins before it dies and plays an important part in the waters ecosystem so please try to collect the ones that are on the surface of the beach.
I completely understand how you feel! I live in a little house on the beach in turks and caicos (specifically in Providenciales) and if you don’t know what turks and caicos is, i recommend you search it! it’s our little slice of paradise just like yours you found in florida ❤️
@@753str i’d say the best for crystal clear water is probably governors beach, grace bay also has really clear water, and more marine life, honestly most of them do, but it does get pretty crowded most of the time. if you find yourself in the salt cay island, north bay beach is always gorgeous. i personally love malcom’s road beach for snorkeling, it’s really close to my area and doesn’t get as crowded as come of the other spots there are some really cool spots that aren’t exactly “beaches”, like the mangroves, but let me know if you’d want any of those sort of places
@@Ur_Fav_Preppy1 i always recommend doing some sort of activity in mangrove cay… rather that’s kayaking the area, or horseback riding…. it’s gorgeous and there’s almost always turtles or sometimes even dolphins you can find (but it’s in shallower water so dolphins aren’t as common) i’m sure you’ve heard about the conch bar caves, and i 100% recommend going, it can get crowded but there’s a lot of area to explore so everyone branches out if you wanna snorkel, i always recommend going to malcolm’s road beach, it’s way less crowded, and more secluded, but just as beautiful we have some really fun art studios that offer paint classes, if that’s the sorta thing you’re interested in, they’re great! there’s this place called potcake rescue center, where you can adopt a dog just for a day, which americans always tell me is kinda weird, but it’s really great, especially if you weren’t able to take your pup on the trip with you… even if you don’t wanna have the dog for the day, i TRULY recommend visiting, and i’m sure kids would love it! i went on a quad bike adventure around the island last year and it was sooo much fun, not sure how expensive it would be tho, but there’s so many things to do that don’t cost anything there’s so many more fun things to do…. is there anything specific you might want recommendations on? food, or specific activities? let me know if you have any questions and i hope you enjoy your stay!

Our new neighborhood is wonderful and full of nice, loving people and each time we go to the lake it’s full with friendly people. Since our house is so close to the lake if I forget something at home like a towel or my phone I can get it! I’m gonna ask to go to the lake myself this morning. I just vacationed in Miramar! I was approached by a large bull shark in waist deep water about mid morning. I was swimming underwater, and when I came up for air, the shark was coming towards me and was about 3 ft. away. IT WAS HUGE. I'm a fast swimmer and immediately swam away, and all was well. I'm just wondering how common this is. Do you ever see bull sharks swimming close to shore like that?
If you come again, take the helicopter ride that goes over the waters! It’s so fun but it really gives you an idea of how many sharks people are swimming by and have no idea. We did it the first year we moved down here, and it was really an amazing experience.
I will say though, this summer, and especially last week, the sharks seem to be more than normal. I heard last week people couldn’t even get in the water, and I saw friends snap stories of them on the pier and the amount of sharks they saw from looking down was insaneeeee. A little unusual this year, but not uncommon 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ rarely do I hear of a shark attack, I swam with a shark during sundown, not on purpose 😂 I was stupid and young and kind of just embraced it. Nothin happened though thankfully but goes to show that sharks are so used to us, they know they don’t want us
Hi guys! Hammerheads only eat at dusk and dawn. Plus those little hammys don’t eat or bite humans. It’s pretty rare if a hammer did though. I swam with multiple and they were so friendly! I have swam with over 20 sharks as well! You get used to it after a while :)
Ok yup, checked back and she’s on 30a, which is a scenic road going between some towns in the panhandle. Like Miramar beach, rosemary beach, seaside, Panama City beach, etc.

When I was like 15 I was scared of the sea but you got me over my fear and now I swim with sharks dolphins and whales ty so much for making me accomplish something that is so beautiful but was terrifying to me
i am the exact opposite of you, i hate the ocean and water (more so scared) and would be terrified to even get in the water let alone see a shark. But i admire your bravery and joy that the ocean brings you!
