The last time I was in playa Maderas was back in 2005, driving a VW hippie van without 4 wheel drive, and I didn't get stucked, even though i made several trips into town (San Juan del Sur) during the month and a half I spent camping at the top of the hill at crazy Dave's unfinished property. And all this was the during the rainy season. Believe me, the road was nothing compared to what is shown in your video. You Millennials looking for fancy acommodations have no right to rate such a paradise!
By the way, the surfing at that beach only happens during high tide. And it can get epic!
