I always look forward to your videos. Thank you for taking the time to educate those of us new to resin. The interference blue looked so beautiful!! I have the same swan mold and found the top and bottom just doesn't seem to match up. I checked the reviews from the place I ordered the mold from and found others have complained about the same issue. Anyway, I have thought about gluing some cork on the top portion and calling it a day. Again, thank you for everything you do!
That interference blue is really great when you add it to another color to create a color shift.. try adding some purple or green colorant to it and you'll love what it does! Did you know interference mica comes in 3 size particulates? Fine is what you used the medium is known as sparkle interference and the large is diamond. You get more coverage less transparency with the fine. That's why it didn't look see through. But it gives that beautiful ghostly effect.. I loved the end result btw! Great job!

The color is gorgeous! I once knew someone that had a necklace that held a large piece of real opal that looks almost identical to what you have made. It was amazingly expensive and looked like plastic .
Beautiful! Just take care of your lungs. I know it's a faff on UT to wear a respirator but it's not worth not working without one. There are so may experienced resin uses that have learnt a hard way. Thanks for sharing. ❤
New subscriber here. I have amassed a huge supply of the ghost pigments (as well as all sorts of other colorant) but haven't yet delved into the actual pouring. I've been studying resin for several years. This video made me wonder how mixing the different colors of the ghost pigments would look in a piece vs how they might look with the different ghost pigment colors swirled in a piece. Lovely work here.❤
😊😊😊 Obrigada por mostrar esse molde! Eu vou me lembrar de não comprar....tudo chega muito caro no Brasil, não dá pra arriscar! Ficou parecendo madrepérola! Lindo.
When I do jars I like to take them out of the mold while still slightly soft and put the lid on the bottom of the jar and let it finish curing that way. They won't cure to each other but they will cure to fit each other, if that makes sense.
Like others I bought from Temu and it doesn't fit...I gave up trying and filled it with the battery fairy lights which takes away from the bad fit. I thought it was me having to make up more resin for the base and so am glad it wasn't just me.
The mold was not made correctly. I have the same one from temu and they dont fit. I tried it twice. I use the bottom as a simple trinket dish and the top is just to put on something else as decorations or just a piece on its own..
I bought this mold from Temu and the 2 pieces did not fit together. It's the first problem I've had with a mold from there. Even after applying heat, it would not match up. It's not you.
The swan looks like Milk Glass💜🙏

Love love love the color 😊
That reminds me of those milk glass swans!!
Run hot water in a sink, place the piece in there and check on it every few minutes until it softens. Once it does you can reshape it. ❤
Thank you. I’ll give it a try

Agreed
That is so funny. I poured those butterflies today and I'm pouring the swan tomorrow!
Let me know if your swan fits together.

Thank you. I’m going to try it again I think I needed to put more resin in the top.

That’s what I like to do too, but time got away from me on this one.

What a shame the top & bottom don't quite fit properly. However the colour of the swan dish & pendants is really pretty.
Tht colour is absolutely gorgeous. Pls can you tell me where you bought it from. Thanks ❤

Good to know. I will try it again to see if I can get it to fit.
Maybe those molds can be used separately and the pieces could be put together and the seam be sand off for a smooth finish.
@@ReadySteadyGo. The bottom dish for sure. But the swan top, idk.
