Fantastic playing - the “kids” be killin’ it! It’s great to see that it seems the old “straight-ahead” vs “fusion” arguments have been mostly forgotten and players are just making music.
Super tight, like all HT work. The brass work is SO good, but it’s the gestalt and the chemistry among the members of the band that make your music so fabulous. And BTW, I maintain that Josh Hill’s solos are much like the tasty guitar work of myriad Steely Dan soloists through the years, especially their early albums. (Yeah, that’s a compliment - SD used some of the best jazz/funk/pop guitarists in the biz.) BOSTON AREA, please!!
