- Finally made it out to some trails to test out my RPS Tornado 250cc from powersportsmax.com. This as a real life test to see if it could handle some different types of terrain. This is part 1 of Sunday's ride.
Thing to always upgrade on chinese quads is
1) New quality battery (VARTA)
2) A new carb + adjustment at a MC shop

You mentioned the ATV didn't have the "balls" + it didn't handle to well- it pulled to the left"; is enough to influence my decision as to purchase it or not.
James Worsen it all depends if your a beginner or a seasoned rider. I think with some upgrades this thing could be decent. I’m kind of a beginner to the ATV world but... I have had countless amounts of dirt bikes, mini bikes, motorcycles, and go karts over my lifespan. It’s a cool machine but in terms of “balls” I mean like torque and horsepower? This thing really falls short, if your a real beginner It won’t be so bad, I just think for the price point going with a used name brand would be a much better decision.
Balls = plug/cdi upgrade/coil/filter/slip on.
Handling = piggy shocks and the knowledge to actually measure and adjust preload and etc.
Pulls to left = 2 second tie rod adjustment.
NEVER first run without replacing without replacing with wet clutch 10w40 non or blended synthetic. Adjust all the cables clutch/brake/etc. Chinese bikes need attention. Know this going in ^

Throw on a nibbi pe30, change the ignition coil to a higher current nibbi ignition coil, change it to a non resistor type boot, upgrade to a higher flowing exhaust, then for for the engine, a ceramic spray like cerakote will free up the friction inside and help the engine stay cooler, and the best oil is definitely 20w50

Engine sounds good. Had an SSR bk in '14. As soon as i built it ..i replaced the engine oil BEFORE 1st start. Even on my newer Yamaha sport quads if sit awhile i replace oil BEFORE starting. Why circulate old contaminated oil? Plus I let it drain 1hr if engine cold etc. #Maxima

Lui Vids ehh... I’ve been meaning to do an updated video been super busy with work. To be honest I really don’t. They will not hold up IMHO, if your gonna spend 2500.00 on a 4-wheeler I would look for a used name brand even if u have to wait to save up that extra money. Hope this helps

I do not recommend these Chinese atvs they cut out really easily and they actually don't go that fast. I recommend Hondas, Suzuki's ,Yamahas, Kawasakis and Can-ams you can get the quads I just said for decent prices around 1900$ -15000$
Those are currently for kids for adults it will cost nearly 3k-5k

Did you ever end up.doing any mods to it? I seen you bought some.raptors, so I'm assuming you got rid of the tornado, but I just bought one and was wondering what you and if you did anything to it. I'm looking to for a quality exhaust for it, but as I'm sure you know, some performance parts are hard to find for the Chinese quads
Just saw this.. I haven’t done anything to it. It’s still running and it’s actually more fun than my raptors cause if the limited space in my backyard. I can just swing the Tornado around but the raptors are harder to control in the tight spaces. I haven’t done any mods to it they don’t really make anything for them. It’s a fun little quad though and it’s running really good

I have one of these with no plastics. Do you think this trx clone is close enough to fit the trx 400 or 450 plastics? What’s your opinion
I literally just started looking at the Honda stuff for this machine... I can’t find anyone that has done it. The shocks are the same size sooo... I’m thinking that they’re gonna be fairly close. It is almost an exact clone. Maybe with some modification it can be done. I wish I knew someone who had one of those Honda’s to get eyes on it.

@@jordancook3775 let me know what the outcome is cause that would be huge for replacement parts... it’s hard to find anything for this particular model... the website I got it from doesn’t even sell replacement plastics for it.

Kevin’s Aerial video & Photograhy just a battery... I wanna do tires to a smaller size preferably what the stock Yamaha Raptors come with. Bars, new chain. Those are the upgrades I wanna do. Been traveling for work so I haven’t been able to do anything recently. Plus I wanna locktight all the fairing screws and bolts. Some have already rattled out. It needs a carb upgrade also,it has a problem with idle.

Prob 50mph but you want high speeds but a street bike not a sporty quad.
@@Davido50 that's not bad for a 250 I guess. I got my 150 coolster from 34mph to 44 so it's close to yours
