After the recent chapter in dragon ball super dropping, the question of if gohan had officially surpassed goku has been getting thrown around a lot. With the debate being strangely a lot more split then I would’ve thought. And so today me and crisis have decided to use the potara earrings and explain to you guys why Gohan has officially surpassed goku and is probably the strongest z fighter around. Before even discussing the fight itself we have to talk about the scaling that both Granolah and Superhero have set, and compare the two. The problem with this however is that both arcs establish two different characters as top 1. The Granolah arc does this with Frieza and Dragon Ball Super Hero does to Gohan. Son Goku, is a Saiyan raised on Earth and the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball series. He is the second born, as well as youngest son and child of Bardock and Gine, the husband of Chi-Chi, and the father of Gohan and Goten. Originally sent to Earth by his parents as an infant, Kakarot was adopted by Grandpa Gohan and renamed Son Goku. A head injury at an early age altered Goku's memory, ridding him of his initial destructive nature and allowing him to grow up to become one of Earth's greatest defenders. Goku constantly strives and trains to be the greatest warrior possible, which has kept the Earth and the universe safe from destruction multiple times. Vegeta, is the prince of the fallen Saiyan race and the husband of Bulma, the father of Trunks and Bulla, the eldest son of King Vegeta, as well as one of the main characters of the Dragon Ball series. Regal, egotistical, and full of pride, Vegeta was once a ruthless, cold-blooded warrior and outright killer, but later abandoned his position in the Frieza Force for a peaceful life on Earth. He would repeatedly fight alongside Universe 7's most powerful warriors in order to protect Earth and his family, as well as to surpass Goku in power. Vegeta's strong character development has received high praise and is regarded as the biggest in the series. He initially debuted as the main antagonist of the Vegeta Saga but progressed into a more anti-heroic tritagonist role for the rest of Dragon Ball Z. Since the Majin Buu Saga and going into Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta has been the main deuteragonist/secondary protagonist behind Goku. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is a 2022 Japanese computer-animated martial arts fantasy/adventure film, directed by Tetsuro Kodama, produced by Toei Animation and written by Dragon Ball series creator Akira Toriyama. It is the twenty-first Dragon Ball feature film overall, the fourth produced with Toriyama's direct involvement, the second to carry the Dragon Ball Super branding, and the first to be produced mainly using 3D animation. The film follows Piccolo and his former student Gohan as they go on a mission to save the world from the newly reformed Red Ribbon Army. It was originally set for release in Japan on April 22, 2022, but was instead released on June 11 due to a cyberattack at Toei Animation. On Beerus' planet, Goku and Vegeta continue their training under Whis, now joined by Broly to help him control his rage. Meanwhile, on Earth, the revived Red Ribbon Army, led by Commander Magenta and Staff Officer Carmine, recruit Dr. Hedo, the grandson of Dr. Gero, to seek revenge against Piccolo and Gohan. Under Hedo's guidance, the Army creates two new androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, to act as superheroes in the public eye. They deploy Gamma 2 to attack Piccolo, who loses the fight. Piccolo follows Gamma 2 back to the Red Ribbon Army's base and discovers that Magenta and Hedo are working on a new android named Cell Max, a new and improved version of Dr. Gero's ultimate weapon, Cell. Hedo kills Magenta to stop this but is too late. Gohan, Piccolo and the Gammas, joined by Goten, Trunks, Android 18 and Krillin, battle Cell Max. Goten and Trunks fuse into Gotenks and, despite botching the Fusion Dance, are able to crack Cell Max's skull, revealing that he does not have a healing factor like the original Cell. Gamma 2 sacrifices himself to injure Cell Max, destroying his left forearm. Combining his "Orange Piccolo" and "Great Namekian" forms, Piccolo battles Cell Max but is ultimately defeated. This causes Gohan's inner rage to finally erupt, unlocking an evolution of his "Ultimate" form called "Gohan Beast".

They compared it to a situation where Goku got scared out of his form which isn't off feat of Goku getting beat. He just literally got shocked because of jiren's power and then they showed gas kicking him out of his form. But you know the differences. He was exhausted. He was already hurt. We know what he's been through. He literally had just finished fighting granola. He was battered and bruised. So yes he get out of his form but in this case he was completely renewed. Unless we're implying that Gohan kicked him so hard. He took all the damage that he took in the granola fight and was that weakened which is just BS to assume no. He just went out of the form and then went back in. For some reason he's only ever dropped form because he's weak or because he's been knocked out or scared. None of the above happened in that case

Gohan wasn’t pressed into Ultimate vs Goten and Trunks, he was handling them even in just SSJ. He got motivated by their resolve to protect others as heroes, and thus kicked it up to that form out of excitement/equal resolve. He was actually winning vs them in SSJ. With smiles on his face, he tossed Trunks and Goten away. And the only reason he didn’t go SSJ2 is because DBS ignores those forms most of the time, besides just SSJ1. Or SSJ1/2 are grouped together as the same thing or something. Maybe they were all SSJ2 already, it’s hard to tell anymore and even Goku in SSJ2 is sometimes designed with SSJ1 hair.
Goten and Trunks potential is never said to be higher than Gohan’s, they just had quick starts due to how strong their fathers were at the time vs Gohan. Whenever the topic of the most potential comes up, it’s always Gohan and not Goten/Trunks. Obviously they are prodigies in their own rights and can surpass their fathers easily if they want, but they’re treated very differently from Gohan.

Don’t take a shot every time Gohan transforms, trust me
Goku wasn't trying to win or beat gohan. He didn't use any of his techniques. Beast gohan only landed one solid hit and it was after gohan gathered a huge amount of ki, boosted his ki up and almost went berserk until he got control of himself. Goku reacted to and evaded every attack then blocked gohan's punch but had to use both his arms. Gohan then immediately follows up with a kick which it was something gohan was happy about because it was his only clean and goku got right back up after it landed and when they continued after that, goku was fighting gohan and at a certain point stopped looking at him and while still handling gohan, goku focused his attention on broly. When goku was done testing gohan, goku without physically touching gohan pushes him away a good distance with one hand. In a real fight goku would win and if used his giant ki form he would ragdoll gohan.
Gohan being stronger than Goku and Vegeta is just ridiculous tbh, he got his beast form with 0 training, potentially years without any sort of workout... Goku and Vegeta have been training for years with gods and angels, unlocked UI and UE... Even if Gohan has more potential than they do, he being at their level just like that, makes no sense. Several mistakes in this video.
- True UI is not Omen UI. They look similar but True UI > MUI
- Neither Whis or Beerus have seen that form. Thus there statement is to be taken with a grain of salt.
- The statement for the movies do not apply to the manga. The movie was written in 2019-2020. Granola arc didn't even start yet.
- Gohan and Piccolo's statements are ignorant. They are unaware of events on Planet Cereal.

My only issue is this: Alot of this assumes the rules are being applied consistently. It would not be the first time the rules are shifted to suit Goku being stronger. Nothing against Gohan taking top spot, but it's not unfair to think that Goku could have really been holding back and at his "true" peak, could beat Gohan entirely. Plus, there's a somewhat noticeable skill gap people can mention, so yeah. Thoughts?

They're they're just abnormal but there is definitely a lot of bias like the part where they said Goku got kicked out of his ultra instinct. I know he didn't. They're comparing it to times where Goku was extremely exhausted and tired. That's why gas was able to kick him out of the form and then jiren was only because he scared him cuz of his power level. Neither of these examples are the same. If we're to say that Gohan kicked Goku so hard, he got him out of his ultra instinct form that implies that he took that much damage from one kick. No, that is a blatant lie. We've seen Goku needs to be on the brink before he starts not being able to hold forms. He clearly just got out of the form of his own and there are many other times where they are definitely biased to gohan on this channel. They're very much show their bias but blatantly go hunt definitely does have the potential. If not already being stronger then Goku but he is the strong enough to one punch him out of his form yet

@@maritimesteak8540 narratively speaking beerus is still superior to the entirety of the cast including black frieza and gohan beast who werent stated to have surpassed the gods like anime jiren and goku. manga goku also never actually surpasses jiren either. the manga and anime have quite different continuities with gohan beast being perceived differently in both as well. MUI from the anime is also just the current manga MUI but better as anime goku can actually use his emotions to get stronger

He kicked him and Goku went out of ultra instinct on his own choice. Clearly they two examples they used was when Goku got scared out of his form by jiren which was only because of the power Gap and the intimidation which Goku didn't have in this case and then they showed gas who kicked him out of super Saiyan blue. Not only is that a tiring exhausting form on him but he was already battered and bruised from his fight against granola. He had holes in his body. He was exhausted. He already pushed himself unless we're saying that one kick from Gohan was enough to lower goku's strength to the point of which he couldn't hold ultra instinct, which is crazy to say no. He just went out of the form of his own choice or maybe the shock that that punch was so strong. Just shocked him out of the form but it wasn't. The fact of his power was enough to do it. He may have just been a little shaken that damn this was strong than I expected. Kind of thing

Maybe there's an arguement that it's not as defensive as Goku, but it most likely is since it's his ki key equals defence durability so it probably is more durable and stronger. Considering goku didn't use Tui, Goku was 100% holding back against gohan like he said he did and was not trying, granted the same is probably for gohan, but I don't find Gohan hitting goku and goku powering down to be evidence that he's stronger considering he was A-ok, not tired and proceeded to fight even more with no fatigue issues either. Tui is stronger than Mui so why that isn't taken into account here is beyond me.

Nah nice vid but im not convinced Gohan slams Goku sure he is stronger and would have won during that encounter but if he has to charge up the burst ability every time I dont see him winning against goku like that and consistently i see goku going the distance now if Gohan does not need to constantly charge his one tap ability then i will concede to gohan slamming goku as of now im not convinced.

Edit: I believe that Goku in terms of battle knowledge, experience, and skills allow him to beat Gohan but Gohans insane potential allows him to surpass all these so for now Goku in my opinion barely is better than him due to just how much fighting experience

Gohan currently is superior when Goku has always been stronger for the majority of the time. Like fans were complaining that Gohan wanted a normal life and didn't train to become super ultra strong or whatever, but not that he is the strongest, and he is just like his cell saga self people are mad.
