For a little dog to just stand completely still like that, no matter what you’re doing to him, is heartbreaking to watch. Heaven knows how badly he’s been treated in the past, God love him. That poor dog makes my heart sad. He's so far shut down from trauma, fear and abuse, that he is not even capable of having any positive or negative response. His head was hung so low, he made very little eye contact, he was frozen in place, and his tail was tightly tucked. Those are all behaviors of a very traumatized, over stimulated animal. I hope his new home provides the gentle love and nurturing he needs to recover.

Only about 6 minutes into the video... he seems like a chill dog. But also like he's shut down too. Like if he just doesn't do anything for or against what's going on to him it'll get over quicker. Less trauma for him to endure in the moment. 😢❤
