    It is reasonable to accept that three learned persons, having each seen the bright star, would never undertake a journey withourt discussing with other learned persons, the appearance pf the unusual event! Different persons from other distant places , would hardly undertake a journey at the very same time. In fact their mide of transport was on camels, and generally, people would travel oin groups, for safety and fpr companionship. It is hardly likely that King Herod would entertain a large group of strangers in his castle. Three was the reasonable number! And why would the others not also bring a token?
