We keep a similar kit in the vehicles during winter for that reason. Glad to see that it some what works, better than nothing. BTW.. I agree about picking up some food, no reason not to do so. Thanks for the video.

Awesome video. Always good to test out new ideas in a “controlled” environment to see what works and doesn’t. A lot of us drive and don’t utilize what we can carry in our vehicles. I live in NYC, couple years ago we had a monster “rain” nor-easter. It was on a Friday afternoon rush hour drive. I was literally stuck for 9 hours on the interstate waiting to go over a bridge to come back home. Having some survival gear and comfort items made it bearable. Now even though I was in “civilization” I was still stuck, and didn’t want my engine running that long. A power brick, wool blanket and a empty water bottle (for urine) I was good to go lol. Anyways, saw ya post in the pf learning center, I’m sub’d and looking forward to watching your videos.

Nice FJ. I’ve got a 2010 FJ Cruiser. I’ve had it for a few years and love it!

This was awesome, man! I have a broken down van on my property that I may have to attempt this. The garberg came yesterday so I’m itching to be outside! Thanks for the experience!

I figured out how to sleep in front seat of my pickup. Turns out I can sleep in a standard recliner chair. I can mimic a recliner by taking a standard pillow (w/pillow case) and inserting a large plastic cutting board in the pillow case. Angle that pillow against the passenger door and the cutting board keeps the pillow at a stable angle. I lie in the front seat in a reclining position with my back against the pillow and feet against the driver's door. Then I put a top quilt over me to sleep for the night.

Did you leave a window cracked to let the carbon monoxide out?
