I’m 42 and still throwing shapes in my lounge to all the old skool jungle..nothing comes close to this nowadays..had many heavy weekends, good times and memories..👌👌
Ppĺp❤
You're 47 now. 😂
I'm 62. 😢
Away from that. This has got head bopping and the rest of the body rocking. 👍🏽
my favorite album to listen to while getting jumped by a group of cats after a successful robbery
This album melted my mind when it came out. It was the first DnB I ever heard, thank you coworker at Lansing Pizza Hut Kevin Dew who lent it to me and set me off on what, an almost 30-year journey.
When you and your boys think you've successfully robbed a mangaka of his diamond and fancy lava rock but then you get jumped by a bunch of cats with deadly string.
For fucks sake! 😂😂🌴🧵
Micky Finn God of jungle
I am from Hong Kong and my 48 years old dad loves it.
Good on him!
Lol of course ha ha ha I feel old 😱
Your dad has a good taste in music
When these tunes were new, he would have been in his mid 20s though.
Nice!.... 👍
D&B!
this makes me feel old and happy ha, take me back to 94 someone please.
I just stumbled upon this.. I still have this cd since '95. It's one of the many jungle compilation cd's I still own. Now at 42 years old still loving this set, too bad the mix is panned hard left towards the end of the cd, but other than that, I really love this. I'll never get tired of the oldschool jungle sound.
Greets from the Netherlands!
Hell yeah, bought this in '95, I'm sure the toons were old by U.K. standards then, but this absolutely RINSES, and if I went to see/hear a DJ play a mix like this today, I would literally weep with joy, no lie
These were from 95, but they go off today.
Can't beat a bit of Jungle 😃
Bro you gotta see Coco Bryce
Illegal parties in the early 90s were more fun than it’s possible to have today.
The Summers of ‘93 and ‘94 in particular were amazing.
Wish I could get a travelcard back London in 93.
Yea because Babylon is crushing the youth but there will be another great rise in culture. It will be something different and new but the vibe will be right. It might be the last too.
My 91/94 n 95/96 were the best yrs ov me life in UK. Ravin junglin drum n bassin. Miiicckyyy Fiiiiinn ring ding ding, bad bwoi in da house, blooood claaarrrrttt. Miss dose days.
What does pussy clart mean? 😭🤣
@@GrooveSchoolRecs its jamaucan sware word
The Ultimate Genius Dj...Mickie Finn....i saw him live in L.A. at Mini shows and underground parties in Los Angeles. Via Pasquale Rotella...Insomniac Events...
The best jungle cd ever put out till this day. I nearly had chills up my spine when I heard "what's going on" for the first time
Try the ragga jungle mixes by LaChips on you tube old and new school mixed up
I'm listening to that track right now
Had this on tape. Quality, quality, quality tunes, perfectly mixed, absolute masterclass and statement of what Jungle was.
instablaster
I brought this from a market stall totally changed my life and out look back in the 90s
i still listen to this on tape... but I gotta clean my tape heads, this one survived the dirty rollers
IS ...What Jungle is lol
This was why I wish I could go back to my 20's . I lived in a blessed era and I give thanks.
I know this is old as fuck. But, damn! I just found it. And it takes me back. I'm 42 still raving hard though.
Take me back I’m raving I’m raving 👌
Do you remember that Ratpack tune "I'm Raving I'm Raving". These were the best times growing up!!! You can't beat em!!!
this shit is still bad ass after all these years
and still continues to be!
This song makes me want to fight some stand-wielding cats!
🙃
I was born in the right era,,, miss those days so much it hurts
DanRsturboS1 same
Yeah, Jungle is very rare these days if you're trying to hear it live. Drum n bass however is still big in some parts and in smaller clubs. Dubstep helped hold it in place and not evolve too much. It's mostly all techy now
if you can find the 2 disk CD of Mickey Finn and dj can get that one. it's the best of all warfares
andrew southward you can find dnb and jungle events everywhere. Legal one and the good classic illegal quarry raves
DanRsturboS1 Same same Bro I hear you
The most amazing mix of 2 amazingly great DJ.s.
Micky finn ring a ding ding
OMG!!!! This was my favorite Jungle tape back in the day. I went nuts when I heard Basslights. It's a sample from the movie 'Aliens". Finn and Jay were the SHIT!
I remember finding this double disc CD and knew as soon as I saw it the content was going to leave me fully satisfied with my purchase. I was 19. This was back in 2002. I had only been into Jungle a couple years. This one and the Darren Jay one was rinsed in my car a maximum volume. I will continue to blast jungle until I am a geezer, that is if I make it. I can't imagine what it will be like then but thinking of an elderly man listening to Jungle is hard to picture lol. I'm 38 now. Wish the future looked as bright as it once did. The music then gave me hope but now I look back at the 90s/early 2000 music scene as our last hurrah. It's like the music and the people knew what was coming and we were having as much fun as we could before the world went in the direction it has. I guess I never had much hope for the future but back then but I didnt think the fun was going to end. The music warns us if we listen. Rasta culture warns us. It's more than just samples on a record. Babylon shall fallllllllll.
I remember sorting packages at FedEx and we put this on the stereo and all of the other people working were pretty annoyed. I can't imagine in retrospect what a jungle CD played loud in a warehouse while you are working sounds like to an outsider.
2020 and still loving this 🎶🎶🎶❤️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️
2022 checking in
I still have my copy on cd. Good mix.
Reminds me of going innersense 94/95
Not a big jungle/dnb fan, but when this came out, it was hella good. i remember it being transformational and opening up another electronic world. Now I gotta find this disc as I feel like this rip has some quality issues.
Still makes me dance my arse off every time. Impossible to sit still.
Peace to all ;-))
Michelle Beynon bopping my head like a nutter in the gym!

Orson in charge i listen to Future Beats every month. the new LP from 31 is solid.
Proper bad boi mix
nothing comes close to it nowadays, love finding all my old tunes on here, JJFrost, Randall, Mickey Finn, Nicky Blackmarket
James Jepp Nicky Blackmarket!?!?! Takes me waay back!!
You might have to wait till about 2042-2045 till the market asks for DJs to replicate these tunes and genre. For will be then 50 year olds who missed old school jungle because they were babies and missed it.
Having a total DnB rennasiance today; glad I came across this, haven't listened to it over a decade I think. I am sure i had this album when I was 15
Andrew Mamo Maybe but it will never be like it was
It's me hello easy riders

Ahh dem days , toting a massive bag of records to a party ... playing first slot as everyone comes up on whatever they took , buzzin
..anyone else on a euphoric flashback might want to check out a new track by Ulterior Motive - Tape Pack , hits the spot
Orson in charge
I checked it out. Hated it. But thanks anyway. Didn’t hit dislike, no. I just came back to the good stuff. Jungle techno knocks the new shit for six. There’s no ideas, the same boring two step beat, beardy lads in black jeggings with massive saucepan hats and sleeve tattoos. CDJs, yikkedy yak mcs. Fuck all that.
Will keep it old school.
Biggups!
Flashback que club Birmingham!!!!
Big up all the 1995 "Jungle Magic" ravers. @The Aston Villa Sport & Leisure Centre. Nicky Blackmarket and Stevie Hyper D mashed up the place.
Classic Beethoven with a jungle twist, always been long time fave!!!!!!!!!!
It was one of the first my jungle/dnb tapes. Today me 38 and i still raving :)
Good times
one of the best jungle mixes ever.
Bout to eat some fungus and trip on this and many others. The opening track is my old school anthem son!!!
my cat's favorite album
Tuneee 94 😃😗
Like of you hung in the jungle room in the 90’s ✌️
Nasty ak 1200 where I first heard a version of this slick tune
I bought this on CD decades ago probably around the time it actually came out I've been a fan ever since the first CD this one is far better than the second
Immortal Technique sampled the beginning of the video. "Dancing with the Devil"
you're joking right?
xD
I had this on twin CD mid-late 90s mad jungle styles. Fuck those were some crazy weekends, big it up in the warehouse raves in some random suburb in Sydney, buying the tickets and calling the number on the night to find out where the hell it was, then partying with randoms all weekend :)
Will vW i also posted that Darren Jay mix, which was the 2nd CD of that set. ua-cam.com/video/n5L1MniqeFc/v-deo.html
Where is The Roller 162?
+Will vW I was born in the wrong fecking era...

@@timdunn685 Big up all the US Junglists!! I love how you guys appreciate our music. When I used to work in music distribution, in London, the US was our biggest importer of Jungle vinyl, tapes and CDsoutside of the UK.
this was my first taste of jungle music outside of the Sunday Mass all-ages party in baltimore. repping '95. glowstick?
Don't forget fever & rise lol
Thanks bro! Been looking for this for years!
Thank you !!!!!!
I really need to find this one track I'm thinking it was between 95 to 1997.
A heavy jungle track, kind of jump up, kinda harder dnb. But, in any case, it was a track featuring vocal samples from a track called "Style Wars" by Hijack. Specifically, I remember these lyrics being repeated:
"You know you can't compete so you just stand and stammer
Crushing your ego I'm quite ferocious like a hammerhead shark
Closing in for the kill
Destructor of counterfeiting adversaries, they're just ill"
First introduction to jungle. Bought this at Sam Goody in 1994 lol
metalheadz....... Need i say more?
@Blue Note, Hoxton, in 1995. RIP DJ Kemistry!! Big up all the pirate radio listeners.
So who remembers Mickey Finn and dj Dan? those were the best jungle warfare... but fans it's hard to find online due too not may albums sold.
This dude is off. He said some other odd stuff in a thread above.

Massive respect to these tunes! Great songs! Fuckin` mix! Boooo!
WHY THE FUCK WAS I BORN IN '94!!! D:
Lloyd Brown at least you was born in the 90's
Kids don't realize that if they united and put their minds to it they could do something big but there is little unity due to social media, smartphones and now this situation we are in. That's how Babylon wants it. Divided you are weak...
lol we got the same :D but still appreciating this music in 2022
Cant remember name of tune but its in the charts fairly modern and heard this melody sampled in it
Wicked set.
Muito TOP, curti muito na década de 90, nos finais de semana tinha um programa chamado DANCIDADE, muito show!!!

is this both the cds? ive been wanting to find a certain song from them but i cant find it! all i remember is playing a cd that said jungle warfare 2 and it had the grenade on the cd cover, it had some lyrics by the means of : "im gonna break you.. and takeee you.."
This is the Mickey Finn. Look up Darren Jay jungle warfare. It's disc/part 2 of this.
...that whole last Mix pans hard L :P
Does amyone have the track six million ways to die......choose one? It's got a wicked bass line, i think micky finn may have mixed it? Not 100% sure, its been a while! I would love to show it to my son as he would love it but I can't seem to find a copy and his dad had it on vinyl but he passed away and not sure who had them. It would be great if anyone knows what I am talking about :)
do a quick search for "uncle 22 and navigator - choose one" theres a few different mixes floating about the internet, but i think this might be what you're after.
Thanks ToMsK87 that is exactly what I was looking for...... ;-)

Does anyone know which Mickey Finn mix (& year) it was that started with the Beethoven song 'O Fortuna' with "Hail the pussy, pussy clart finn!" Playing in the back ground? I had it maybe 15 years ago on a tape pack. I'd love to find it so I can hear it again n try n download it 😢 think it was a New Years mix but not too sure...
