This might seem hard to believe but honestly, this feels exactly like something that a South Asian woman abroad would go through, especially elder sister figures. We are disrespected, abused and taken advantage of by our community constantly, expected to cater to people’s emotional needs with virtually zero emotional support in return and have to deal with all kinds of deceit and drama while holding the entire family together. This should be a lesson. Don’t give your love, time and energy to people who don’t deserve it, which is probably at least 80% of your friend circle/network. Half the time, your own family doesn’t even deserve it, especially extended family.
People who are traumatised , let's give you some hope . So my cousin ( 27F) was the staying in Kolkata, West Bengal ...fell in love with someone in Bareilly, UP (28M) . There are many cases around the world - But in this case particularly I feel that Kirat’s life was made more complicated with playing with her feelings. A serious road crash kills anyone for one time but this kind of abusive act is not allowed without proper motivation. She should be seriously punished.
She also felt the pressure to marry coz her friends were getting married one by one. The fake Bobby is good looking and wealthy - a good catch for her age. Desperation can lead to believing things that we'd be suspicious about if we weren't desperate. I wish her well - hope she can recover and heal from this.
As a future psychologist, I just want to know a psychological evaluation and interpretation about why simran did it?any diagnosis? Or a self made theory. Enough answers about her motive weren't given to us. But I'm glad kirat came out with this story publicly and internationally. Simran deserves to be shamed and should be recognised as an evil, characterless and fraud kinda person. She'll pay for this slowly and suffering will go on till her whole lifetime. Karma has its power
(JUST MY THOUGHTS NOT A SERIOUS DIAGNOSIS) I’m not a psychologist, and this is based off of my own curiosity but it seems that Simran created an entire world of different personalities and was indulging in a fantasy for years, making up scenarios for everything occurring in her characters’ lives. So maybe a personality disorder? Like Antisocial Identity Disorder? Or sociopathy, since its a sociopathic trait using deceit, false identities and manipulation without remorse? My initial thought was maybe she had split personalities (DID) But i’m not sure. (As i said, im not a doctor this is based off my own research and pondering) Its really fascinating though, how obsessive she was. However, her motives could have been different than just having a mental illness. Maybe she was obsessed with her cousin so she started this whole thing? I’m really curious as well.
@neenee4614 in my opinion I think Simran did this on purpose to destroy Kir’s happily married life. I suppose Simran did actually break up with JJ and out of jealousy she wanted her sisters life to be spoiled the same way.. you know there are some psychos who thinks in this way “ if i dont have it you also shouldnt have it in your life”. For that she played a series of Game of Thrones which is still a surprise on how can someone plot something to this extent that too by creating more than 50+ social media accounts!
I listened to the original podcast wherein it is revealed that simran was going through something in her own life at that point and talking to kirat was like an escape from that life. She thought she was bringing some kind of joy to both their lives by doing that.
Ig she was probably a lesbian madly in love with kirat while she knew it would never happen simce kirat is straight. Another reason might be due to jealousy kirat who also had a stable job whereas simran was academically brilliant student in British bank and lost her job
As a milennial who was very active on FB back in 2012 to 2017, it’s just as weird to us. Why would anyone post pictures of their injured friends. Maximally we could drop a direct message but not a literal post
I actually have seen this in the past, especially from people who didn't have any way to stay in contact with each other without FB. In that period a lot of people didn't have whastapp or snapchat
What an evil cousin to have. But Kirat took too long to realize it. You must always see the face of the person online who you are close with. I don't believe in online relationship.
Idk how someone can have that level of patience! It's just straight up dumb to me to chat w someone for 10 years without sharing the same energy by meeting face to face . She should've ended it sooner lol
"It was all me . I'am Bobby,Bobby is me" got me traumatized. Really impressed with simran . definitely not supporting her but i think Kirat was stupid to believe in those virtual conversations. Like, how come she didn't realised it sooner.
What was this? Why Keerat? Did she have no relatives of her own to guide her? Someone who was interested in her daily life? To show her how stupid it was to not physically meet her partner for 3 years?
I predicted it was Simran at 31:18 🤭 It just seemed weird that just after she would confide in Simran, someone would come forward and cleared her doubts. Amazing coverage, guys! ❤
As a Nigerian I find this very disrespectful and racist. You could have made your point without putting down another country. Hope you work on your narrow mindedness
Aryaan you have been total distraction whole episode 😂, I din knw if I shud feel bad fr Qirat or jus roll laughing seeing those extreme expression and reaction from our Man😂😂
Its unbelievable how she could be so oblivious of own surroundings. It's a tight knit community & how she went on for so long without exchanging a word about this man in person to person conversation, especially when she thought everyone knew about their relationship! My first trigger would have been, you didn't recognize almost at the bar (which is humiliating) & then why in earth his ex-wife would be reaching out !?? This is more unbelievable than even wormholes!! 😂
The poscast explained this. Simran got the baby pictures from his real axcout, then they went baby clothes shopping together online, guided Kirat into "choosing" the clothes the baby was wearing in the pictures, literally gaslighting in her into believing they choose the clothes together, and then posting the stolen baby picturs on Bobby's fake account
There was a show called Catfish and they have cases of people never meeting for x amount of time of speaking online. Some had happy endings , some didn’t. Some were sad, some weren’t. But I don’t think I’ve seen any story remotely close to this. This Simran isn’t the DDLJ we grew up loving in the 90s 👀
5:46 the answer is no. It is not normal to talk to someone for 5 months and not recognize the name. Is Kirat common? Because even if it is you still know you were talking to a Kirat for months.
I am sorry I don't want to laugh but after hearing Aryaan's questions he had me ROFL..the story is a sad story but I am trying hard to feel bad but Aryan my boy😂😂😂 the way Aryan cracked up at Bobby's damaged vocal cord😭😭😂😂

Great coverage of the case as always, but I'm extremely disappointed in your portrayal of Simran. It's very clear from even an outside perspective that Simran is an emotional monster who took pleasure in ruining the life of her cousin, while she herself flourished. There was no secret motive so let's not mystify Simran, because that's more than she deserves.

@@gaarasandvillag Maine sun liya thik tha par yeh ladka itna over react kr rha tha 😡
This should be a movie!! I am shooketh!!
this is so bizarre like its absolutely mad tbh😭
ikr?
I still don’t understand why Simran did all of this. Why Simran??? Why???
I listened to the original podcast wherein it is revealed that simran was going through something in her own life at that point and talking to kirat was like an escape from that life. She thought she was bringing some kind of joy to both their lives by doing that.
Ig she was probably a lesbian madly in love with kirat while she knew it would never happen simce kirat is straight.
Another reason might be due to jealousy kirat who also had a stable job whereas simran was academically brilliant student in British bank and lost her job
@@anonymousmask7140simran was literary her younger cousin. Its literary incest if she liked her 😭
She’s a pathological liar.
What she do and why
@@_shreyaa._ikr i feel bad saying this but sis is really naive it’s also her fault
How stupid can this woman be?
Even though there was no video chat. Her cousin would send pictures & even talk to on phone. It was very elaborate & believable.
"It was all me . I'am Bobby,Bobby is me" got me traumatized.
Really impressed with simran . definitely not supporting her but i think Kirat was stupid to believe in those virtual conversations. Like, how come she didn't realised it sooner.
Omg Yes baby
Did you not…listen to the story..?
SCU : Simran Catfishing Universe
😂
What was this? Why Keerat? Did she have no relatives of her own to guide her? Someone who was interested in her daily life? To show her how stupid it was to not physically meet her partner for 3 years?
I predicted it was Simran at 31:18 🤭 It just seemed weird that just after she would confide in Simran, someone would come forward and cleared her doubts. Amazing coverage, guys! ❤
Imagine Simran being born in Nigeria and had access to a computer. All American senior citizens would be living in SIMRANS world
As a Nigerian I find this very disrespectful and racist. You could have made your point without putting down another country. Hope you work on your narrow mindedness
Well she is indian and everyone is familiar with Indian call centers.
The quality of these videos, the story telling is just awesome!!! How they don't have millions of subscribers yet!!!!!
We also wonder why.
Because of that annoying guy probably
Just heard the podcast...but will it stop me from watching the video??
ABSOLUTLY NOTTTT
i literally love u guysss❤❤
Your love means the world to us! Thank you for watching!
My mind is blown and I feel I wasted my life’s precious hour on this😂😂 Keep them coming though 😅
Who came here from Instagram 😂
Me 😅
@@ReemikyPasyad heheh same
But how did simran change her voice to a man's voice?
Voice changer
Just heard it on Spotify....just one thing to say " MAD" USS AARYAN USS😭😭
Aryaan you have been total distraction whole episode 😂, I din knw if I shud feel bad fr Qirat or jus roll laughing seeing those extreme expression and reaction from our Man😂😂
I can't handle Aryaan's reactions!! 😂😂😂He's finding the story as incredulous as I am and we are barely 20mins in.. Goodness👀
It is rather, incredulous!
Totally agree that evil is right next to us.
What?!? How psychotic and prudent someone has to be to pull off a masterplan like that!
How did no one know that bobby has a Facebook account that’s not even his
Its unbelievable how she could be so oblivious of own surroundings. 😂
I was Aryaan the whole time, Aishwarya narrated the story. 😂 Love you guys ❤️
Simran is the queen of vellapanti 🤣🤣
but what about the pictures kirat saw? like the pics of bobby's son wearing clothes she picked out. how the hell did simran do that
The poscast explained this.
God knows whose baby Simran might have kidnapped for those photos lmao
No ,she might have gifted them to the actual Bobby's child and he wud have sent simran the pics
Ok is it okay to laugh madly at this comment😂😂 but the comment above giving explanation is correct
Even south indian writers cannot handle this bullshit 🤯
Great presentation! Gave me chills and had a couple of laughs too!
Glad you enjoyed it!
i literally wait for these episodes now
Aww! Thank You!
Summary guys.... Simran is nuts, she had created some characters for fooling her BF she just renamed and used for fooling kirat later on.
This is the best episode ever! Aishwarya wow! Your narration is just wow!
Hey, thanks a ton for the sweet feedback!
36:46 “BOBBY’S A CARDIOLOGIST. WITH THE NHS. AND HE HAS TO PUT UP WITH THIS SHIT?” 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
How can a person do this to her sister for 10 long years???? this is just too shocking and nobody deserves to have a cousin like Simran
so pathetic
Nobody in the whole wide world deserves this
Simran is a lesbian and Kirat relationship with Bobby would have lasted 9 days not 9 years if he was a supermarket worker instead of a doctor
This gives light yagami and L a run for their money
This was one terrifying case, enough to give me a sleepless night.
can this guy stop talking 😭😭😭
I agree. The guy needs to interrupt less
Already know the video is going to be amazing as always. Watching while having lunch. You guys are perfection 🤝👏
You're the best!
What makes me even sadder is that 10 years lost in the life of a woman who wants to have children is even more impactful. She missed a golden window.
Aryaan was a big distraction during this episode
You'll are just soo good.. there are many documentaries & crime podcasts but the way you guys speak & do it is just mind blowing & amazing
Hey, thanks a ton for the sweet feedback!
Just one thing to say ,"Toniiiiii" 😂😂
bhahahah
😂😂😂
this stry deserves a netflix series😂
There is now
This guy is breaking the flow of the story
Hey!
Recently started following you guys.
Absolutely love your work, the way you'll present the stories, the analysis, the narration.
Everything is amazing. There are few episodes which I have watched on Netflix or in movies, yet I watch episodes because how well you guys put it across. Love it and keep up the amazing work.
Hope to see you guys in the big leagues someday!! Cheers
Hey, thank you for listening ❤️
19:50 the slow head turn had me cackling so hard I had to pause
Imagine having Simran as a friend🏃♀️
I think Simran took the words “ja Simran jee le apni zindagi” too seriously 😂
Great coverage of the case as always, but I'm extremely disappointed in your portrayal of Simran.
It's very clear from even an outside perspective that Simran is an emotional monster who took pleasure in ruining the life of her cousin, while she herself flourished.
There was no secret motive so let's not mystify Simran, because that's more than she deserves.
Reminds me of the tik tok case, Reesa Teesa 💀
Even crazier 😭
Complete crap I must say. Simran must be in prison. Simran is the epitome of the evil
Back in 2013 people used to post everything seemed important for their circles instead of thirst traps.
This video could be so way better if Aryan not interupting every 2-3 min ...so distracting
Agreed 👍
Exactly my thoughts, I was so irritated by him showing up randomly n giving weird expression, I have to fast forward it to continue with the story
True
True, that guy is so annoying
This feels like a story that kind of relates with the fictional story "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Edward Hyde" that i read out to my younger cousins.
My braincells died listening to all the plot twists
How come soo less subscribers, likes and comments you guyzz are amazing I eagerly wait for Saturday for these amazing amazing true crime documentaries. You guyz are the best in doing these !!!!!!!
Hey, thanks a ton for the sweet feedback!
So few* do learn English, please
Never heard of a case so crazy!!
ikr?
10 years is wild..how can you not suspect anything?? She never saw these people live..
what a crazy story!
ikrrrrr
I see a potential criminal in Simran....and out of all the cases covered in your podcast, this one is giving me the chills. Idk why but it is so scary!!
