@@jtsrecordroom3963 the earlier stuff i def like more but there’s some good pop songs on the last few. it’s just that one album from last year i have really had a hard time getting into. the lead singer Maria put out a solo record that’s not bad it has a very laurel canyon kinda sound to it.
I listened and really like this band.. a lot ! "Night Crash" is killer, and an awesome video ! Great power pop punk music.. the real deal ! "Alright Alright" is very good, Walk On The Wire" is a bit like The Hives, better, I think ! .. Still listening.
Another new band for me. I was not familiar with Sahara Hotnights, that is until now. They've had a lengthy career so kind of surprised I had missed this band. Based on your description of the first 3 records, I will definitely check them out.
if ya check em out lemme know whatcha think. i have another video on here its vinyl S #1 where i talk about band and one of their albums that was a holy grail for me to find on vinyl. dig it up if ya interested. i think you’ll appreciate the tale.
you can def hear the influence on certain songs from the first three records. but then it’s gone. but weird thing was last year when they out put that new record they went on some shows in europe to promote it and covered Pet Semetery even though it’s not on the album. Not sure you’ll dig them but curious what ya think.
@@tarrtruck2869 ah that's awesome to hear. i really wasn't sure and was almost trying to prep ya to maybe not be into them. i think I mentioned it in the video i was lucky to catch them twice. I probably saw one of the last times they played in the states.
Great analysis . I have the same shirt and also am a SH fan. I'm jealous you got to see them! They absolutely are an awesome band. I agree "Kiss and Tell" is the best. I feel literally the same way about each album You have all the same CD releases I have (tho I'm missing Suits Anyone and Sparks). Both versions of Jennie Bomb, both of Cmon Lets Pretend I have compiled all the songs from the different releases into an uber Jennie Bomb release with a great track order The japanese version of Kiss and Tell is essential , those two bonus tracks make the album! Their later stuff has its charm and I'm still a fan but I like the spunky stuff
hey J thanks for tuning in and great feedback. great idea creating that “complete” version of jennie bomb. wish the band wouldve made some of those singles and earlier stuff a little more available. i dont think i mentioned it in the video but i have in addition to all these releases a whole bunch of singles that were never on albums. i made my own CD called “b-sides” with them all even though most arent b-sides. it sounds like theyre working on a new album. hoping maybe its a step back to their more punk sounding days than where the last album found them. i miss their guitars. thanks again for checking in!
Hello Steve, it's awesome that you have the suit anyone fine, I have also tried to find the songs from that album but there is no longer one for sale, I also love Sahara Hotnights and I wanted to know if you can publish or share the songs with me in mp3, I don't ask that you sell me the CD since it was probably very expensive for you, that's why I would pay you for your help if you share the songs with me. I await your response friend
Always good to hear about a cool band that I know nothing about !👍 So true, In 1999- 2005.. Tons of pop punk bands !
hope ya check em out JT. Their vinyl is a little tougher to find in the wild but maybe Bill’s got some in the garage…
@@STEVEHEROLD I'm gonna listen.. except you that ABBA like last one of theirs you showed !
Sahara Hotnights, interesting name for a band ! I'm listening now.👍

Amo esta banda, la conocí de pequeño gracias a un juego de PS2. De casualidad tienes algun disco de Go Betty Go
Yes! Great band. i have two Go Betty Go albums actually. Their first EP Worst Enemy and then their album Nothing is More.

An all female Swedish punk band that sounds like the Ramones? Now that's a group I have to check out!

@@STEVEHEROLD Well I've played cuts off their first two albums on UA-cam and they sound great! I'm actually pretty impressed.
