Best of all possible versions, even Judy Collins, and that's saying something. Listened to this in Adak, AK in the late 70's as a Marine stationed at the Marine Barracks.
I can't believe I put in "Someday soon" on UA-cam and Tanya Tucker didn't show up! I wonder who she pissed off. Still the best version ever. Followed by a close second by Julie Collins. Love ya both.
I'VE HEARD OTHERS SING THIS SONG, AND I STILL BELIEVE THAT TANYA DOES IT THE BEST.. THANK YOU TANYA, YOU KEEP GOING GIRL,. GOD BLESS

Loved this album cover. Big crush on TT back then, and this version still resonates with me like it's 1975 (or thereabouts)
Best version ever ! I remember I burned the 8 track up playing this ! Got a New Tape ! Great album.
I agree this is the very best version. Perhaps because Tanya was young when she recorded it so it feels like it could be true. Great album, too!

Saved to my memory!
Ian Tyson sure did well with this song
