I got a set of Shure SE215 headphones a while back, and I can honestly say that they are fantastic for the £80-100 price point.
In the video you say they cost 149 and in the thumbnail you say they cost 199 and in the descrition they cost 100? just wanted to say that.

Using an iPhone to test high end audio headphones is a definite no... I use iPhone X also for daily music out n bout but when I’m home i connect to my rotel earphone amp and it’s a totally different experience, Alex if your going to test audio products please use a amp that will be able to properly test the units 👌😎
You should think about that not anyone that is watching these videos owns an amp, and he is testing them like anyone else would mainly use them (on a smartphone).
I know where you are coming from but most of his viewers are little fanboys that just don't think much about the product and just buy them because he said that they are good.

MrUnknownEMC MrUnknownEMC I am currently trialling the Sennheiser Momentum M2 IEBT they are pretty sweet drivers and the mids and highs are so clear and the bass is tight, 0-100% charge 1.5hrs and gives you 10+hrs use and yes your eyes are reading the figures right 👌 the build quality is Sennheiser quality 🤩 I’m loving em and what’s more is they can handle top end amps and really come alive 💪😎 they are also sub £200 price range. 😜
I have a Schitt Jotunheim and Chord Mojo headphone amp/DACs however, for my IEMs (Shure SE846s) the DAC and amp within the iPhone is more than good enough for driving IEMs with no issue to a sensible volume. If he was trying to drive a pair of Audeze LCD-2s that would be a different story.
Each to their own! Some people do like diving down the audiophile route as like anything it's a hobby. Most studios use cheap (compared to audiophile standards (headphones) because they do their job, deliver a clear flat response. We pay a little extra for something to our personal liking, ie. using tube amps over solid state etc.
As you do it commercially you have different requirements to someone who just wants to kick back and listen to some music to unwind.

I once had a pair of earphones when i worked at a mahcine that were around 85-90db, i could not hear any noise. They were insane!
Here are 3 reasons why shouldn't pay any attention to what the guy is saying.
1. He treats the earphones horribly - knocking them against each other? WTF?
2. He judges their sound when freshly packed out of the box, while all earphones need several hours of playback before reaching their potential.
3. He plugs them into iPhone.
1MORE Quads are great for their price btw.

I enjoy the vids, but you always overdrive your music on your videos and add extra unneeded bass. I'd trust you on your audio suggestion more if you could get the basics on your vids and not overdrive your music.
Just a pair of headphones. I use the sennheiser 4.40 HD and it's great I recommend. Bluetooth over ear. I would argue that the sennheiser's are better. Or the skullcandy crushers

Yes! Every song reveals different qualities of a headphone. With some songs you can’t even hear if a headphone has harsh treble or not etc.

@AR actually they have different sound signature. Triples are more balanced whereas the Quads are bassy. I have both.
