I found if you shift the sticky grid over an 1/8 of an inch roughly 4mm then the centre line will line up with the the centre of the spin tool and also helps in centring your card on the grid.
Hi Juliana! I just received my stamp and spin tool. I have to say I just love it. Easy as pie! Great results. Thanks for showcasing this on your channel!
I have this tool and was so disappointed that my first and only attempt at a wreath was off centre on a pre sized piece of card stick! I did t know what I’d done wrong and haven’t tried again as I thought I obviously didn’t know how to use it. Yao glad I’ve watched this video as none of the others explain about that and I don’t want to waste a whole A4 sheets of paper each time, I want to cut it down. Just seen a comment here to shift the sticky grid sheet - genius! Can’t believe Sissix didn’t get it all to line up- how stupid of them!!!
Just spotted at 8:20 you moved your pre cut card after shifting it left to be centred. So now it won’t be centred after you just explained we should move it over slightly…?

@@patriciagutuskey9509 In looking at close up pics of both hinge areas, I feel confident they are not interchangeable. Also after reviewing my Stamparatus the spin tool may fit the hinge, but the SU tool does not have a big enough surface area for it to lay on and work. Also the double hinge of the SU tool would not allow the spin one to lay flat.
Hi Juliana. Thanks for the demonstration - the "background" stamping looks wonderful! Will the tool work with rubber stamps (thinking SA/ Tim Holtz in particular)?
Love the wreaths but the background is absolutely amazing.
Thank you! I love making my own backgrounds!

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing as well!
Great idea!!!!!! Best!!
Just got stamp and stencil tool. Did some stenciling and I love it. Now thinking I need the spin tool too.
It is certainly a fun tool to play and create with!

I addressed this issue in the video as well.
I really loved the colors you chose. I am still trying to bulk up my collection of inks and I am trying to decide where to concentrate my money

You can shift the sticky grid or the paper on the grid. Either way gets you the same result in the end and the design will be centered on the paper.
hmmmm, does it fit in the SU platform hinge openings?
This is designed to fit in the Sizzix Stencil and Stamp Tool. I don’t have the platform you are referring to so I don’t know.🤷🏼♀️
@@JulianaMichaels understand - would be a nice happy accident if it does.
Would this fit TH tonic platform?

Thanks! And yes it works with any cling stamps!
