- Unrestored original Chevy. Original drivetrain never opened. 104000 miles. Great color combination, good looks and a well handling 50 years old car!
400 CID V8 smallblock, TH350 transmission.
Import from Indiana in 2018 (to Denmark). I have the original bill of sale; sold as a demo in 1973 with 500 miles on the clock. - Авто та транспорт
Dad brought a pale yellow one home new when I was 5. Kept that thing pristine til the 80s whe I left home. Light beige interior brown carpet. Put a few hundred thousand miles on that 350 it never skipped a beat. Super reliable car
Back window and trunk shape I thought were so cool. Nice curve plus the trunk looked like a reverse cowl induction hood.
OMG, I had this back in 1988. Mine was blue.
Cars were beautiful in those days! I still have brochures of the 1971 - 1975 Caprice/Impalas
Wow, that thing's exterior is pristine!
My family had a 1980 Caprice classic. Interior-wise it wasn't much different than this even though it was 4-door and wine colored in and out. Nostalgia hitting hard.
I once had a 1978 Caprice, as the 1980 model they’re very different from this 1973, smaller but true to the “concept” and still very nice!!
@@carscloseup Some things are ingrained into my childhood memory... Like staring at those side mirror adjustments that my dad sternly warned me never to touch... Sooo tempting for a 5 year old boy. They looked like a video game joystick that I just HAD to try... But was never allowed.
Love it! I had 73 Impala with the side shirts.
Nice. My late father had a four door sedan Chevy Impala of the same year model and same colour green. It was a patrol car before it was his.
love this , I still want one
Get one!
Looks like it's a few months old...congratulations on a beautiful car, I'd buy one brand new at the Chevy dealer if I could :)
My parents purchased a Detroit demo loaded 73 Caorice for cheap in 1974 that was equipped with a 454. Our German relatives loved it as it was so powerful.
My mom had this exact car … when we were kids my grandma bought it new and gave it to my mom in like 78…wow..memories…I had a white 73’ 4 door Impala
That Quiet chevy engine....
That car is absolutely beautiful. It really has 104,000 miles? It was really well cared for. My 73 coupe was forest green with a black interior, it had the split bench seats also. Mine had 240,000 miles on the original engine and transmission, only repairs were a new timing chain and water pump. Unfortunately, the northeast US winters consumed the frame and body with rust. Are you sure it had a TH350 tranny? My small block 400 came with the TH400 tranny. The weak link on mine was the driveshaft, that crazy "constant velocity joint" wore out every 70,000 miles. Loved that car, wish I had it today in showroom condition like yours. I am so envious! Please take extra special care of that wonderful car! Feel free to ask about any future issues you might have, I am intimately familiar with that car for sure! All the best, wish I lived closer so I could come and sit in your car...Don
Thank you for sharing🥰, yes it’s a TH350! I will take really good care of it, I promise!
beautiful car indeed
Красавица нет слов!😮
Thank you!
Nice color
I had a ‘73 Bel Air which was bottom tier by then, and it is the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. “Weak” 350 that didn’t have enough power to break anything, had highway gears…drove smoothly, took a beating, and never let me down.
I love the simplicity and style in these cars. On paper this 400 has 150 hp, but in reality it has enough power to keep up with modern traffic…
Mate she's Quite cute.
These cars were extremely stylish and very very very classic looking I had a 1973 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and I did love that car that was my first new car that I bought on my own but it had a 350 and not a lot of power but it was a nice ride I drove that car all over the country and I would do it again in that car. They made cars back then that you really really did love them comfortable classy looking at chrome bumpers now they're plastic junk

@@carscloseup ok thanks
I'm interested
in Makin and offer
The price listed by the uploader is what they scam people into paying on bring a trailer. Nobody actually cares about those values, its a 3 grand car at most day in day out. Sedan is less and certain colors too. Black and white are always 3 grand. This green? Maybe fifteen hundred. Still clean and new.
@@SnepperStepTVwell it’s a new day homie . The donk going up in value big time …
This car was a hunk of junk when it came off the assembly line. These cars only lasted 5 years or so before they were junked
The one has lasted for more than 50…never restored.
Those gigantic bumpers are an abomination.
