That was cool to learn about Serf and this chapter of Scottish history. Living near so many St Serf sites I’ve always wonder who this guy was and what was his deal, and now I know. Thank you 🙏
Can I just say I deeply appreciate and admire the work this channel does. Whether its explaining history or showing the celebrations of sacraments, I can boldly say that I grow in faith. From a Scottish American convert, thank you! and God bless.
Don't forget Saint mungo brought back to life the Robin of Saint serf. This happened in a sacred place that was dedicated to Saint maelok or maelog who was the son of King caddow of Strathclyde, saint Gildas and Saint Michael were the brothers of maelok. The monestry of Saint maelok was called cambusmaelok which became camelok then camelot.
God bless you abundantly for your amazing work - your videos are Truly inspiring and educational- I am always "uplifted spiritually " after watching one of your vids - you help me "get out from under " my spiritual lethargy- you bring aid to my soul- may our Blessed Mother,Mediatrix of all graces, wrap you in her mantle of love, peace and perseverance. I've got ancestors from Kirkcaldy. My uncle Arthur's middle name was Kirkcaldy. I want to go to those caves King Lot hhhhmmm yeah same old theme. Leave your daughters for dead.
Love the honesty. All built on pagan sites. I think it sad how the Church divorced itself from its Jewish roots and later embraced pagan traditions , making them "Christian."
The Church has never divorced herself from Jewish roots. The Church is the succession of the Old Testament. The early Church fathers accepted Gentiles such as pagans to become Christians. Their former places of false worship would no longer be needed and as such were easily adapted for the use of Christ.

The "Church" was the people and they met in homes, including the homes of gentile converts.
@@ewankerr3011 They met in homes because of persecutions but in countries like Ethiopia they have built Churches
In the New Testament, where did the Christians meet? In private homes. The Church was the people, not the building.
But these Jewish roots are descended from paganism and an aberration of Sun god Ra.
