Wish the little small eaglet was given to Jackie and Shadow. Just too bad nature can be cruel sometimes. Wishing the best for the smaller eaglet to get food and survive until he/she fledge.
2024/04/19 #3 got a huuuuge crop this morning after waited 2 big siblings got full. He's one smart guy. I hope he'll make it😊
Yes, I saw that feeding also and was very relieved and happy to see #3 ate a good meal.
@YaelSharon3410 j
He's still very small. He will need many more feedings , after this one. To be on the clear, is touch and go for this one , unfortunately. But I really hope he makes it. He's a cutie 💓
@josephtrotter thank you for highlighting LM7's struggle to stay alive and allowing your viewers to express their concerns. The chat room for that nest is rude to newcomers. I'm happy to see more food coming into the nest the last few days. At one point, I think the Mom thought the little one had perished and started covering it with sticks. It's definitely a survivor but has a lot of catching up to do from days of being dehydrated and malnourished. I hope it continues to thrive.
Please feed your little baby! You have three mom🐥🐥🐥
I'm glad others are talking about this. It was extremely heartbreaking watching this yesterday. When I turned it on, the little one was by itself on the other side of the nest. Then it managed to hop over to the parent and was ignored. Later, it somehow managed to be alone with the adult and was pleading for food. The older two seemed to be sated and we're staying back, but the adult wasn't making much effort to feed it. It is really difficult to see.
I saw a video where the two older eaglets were in a comma after eating and the little one was begging the parent for food while he/she was eating and ignoring the baby.
After a while the baby was given two or three bits; then, the parent moved to the other side of the nest, near a piece of red meat which was next to one of the other eaglets.
The parent continued eating and when the big eaglet moved the parent offered food to him/her. The parent insisted but the eaglet was not interested as he/she was full.
Then, the baby approached begging for food but nothing was given to him. 😢😢😢😢
So typical, even in 2 eaglet nest , it really takes a dedicated and experienced eagle mom , to deal with this kind of situation , but this kind of experienced mom are far and between
That's horrific! Some Eagle Parents are more nurturing than others.
Yes.This baby is crying for food,he/she is starving to death right in front of us.
Shame they couldn't give the baby one to Jackie and Shadow. They have access to lots of food. Where is the Dad?
I know I was thinking the same thing but I know this is nature. Just sad to know Jackie and Shadow wanted to be parents but can't be eagle parents this year while some eagles on other nests are neglecting their eaglets or eggs.
If this Lil' Eaglet is going to have the will to survive being a Nestling, it will have to use its thought processes using the dash and grab methods and other creative means to get bites of food.
What are the ages of these Eaglets?
Thanx jt for sharing this video!
LM5 hatched March 28, LM6 March 29 and lil LM7 April 2.
Plsssss… give it to the food number third babe plsssssss🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 so silly mama ~💔💔
That little one is scared if its mother, and the 1 big one is mean as shit.
Yes
Is a real nightmare to have to deal with 2 much older siblings in an eagles nest , 1 is bad enough , this little one needs all the luck in the world, and MOM is the only one that could help here, from ehat i see its not good , but one day at the time is all we can hope for
Na natureza é cruel, sobrevive os mais fortes, até os pais preferem os filhotes mais fortes, meu coração doeu de vê o filhote menor não comer.
If LM7 makes it to fletching stage it will a miracle as he or she is so far behind in age compared to the other two.🤞🙏🐣
A transfer to Jak and Audacity nest be great, but...
So sad ..... heartbreaking to watch in live 💔it's very hard for the parents to feed 3 eaglets in this nest and the age difference is too big
Mom could do it , if she would only stop for a moment and not feed the biggest of her eaglets ,she feeds the older, constantly, it's really annoying ,that's when I tune out ,when the littlest goes , she'll probably try yo feed it to the oldest,
From what I've been told about other nests with this situation is that the parent feeds the eaglet that is front and center with its mouth open. If you're not there, you don't get fed.
Last week, I watched as the 3rd eaglet from the St. Vrain nets died because it was stuck in the bole in the hot sun and the parent ignored it while the other 2 were fed.
I guess it's not in the mental map of an eagle to look out for all the eaglets. It's just so difficult for humans who are wired to protect our little ones.
@@ritataffenhart4703 =( OMG yes I did watch the St Vrain nest one you mentioned and it was just a tragic death for the little eaglet. The little one had convulsed and died. I was heartbroken seeing that little eaglet suffer. I remember seeing an unexperienced male eagle that at first gave his eaglet some food but then afterwards he killed the eaglet.
@ritataffenhart4703 Well, Akacheta and Thunder seem to have feedings down really well. No bonking and all lined up, and when one gets a bite, the others sit there so nicely and wait their turn. They had triplets 3 times and all have behaved so well. Life is a mystery.
@@deebell8727Yes
I don't understand what's going on here? Is there now only one eagle tending to all of these little babies?
7 will be dinner in a couple weeks
7 must be part chicken
This deserves more views!
Poor thing seems to be a frayed to get boinked by the parent. how sad.
Yes..petrified of mom
Its a shame these neglected babes cannot be put in a nest like Sauces nest, where they will be nurtured by Mom...with all the money these cams have you think they would have such a program.Anyone????..
The laws in the US are very strict. These birds cannot be disturbed, you can be sent to prison just for picking up a feather from the ground.
Yes. I don't like the oldest. Mom should do something, but seems she doesn't care enough. Even mom wants to feed it, it isn't eating enough.
Haven't been following this nest. Food shortage?
The food has gotten better, but LM5 is still being very aggressive
@@josephtrotter usually takes a few days after food shortage for things to calm down. So fingers 🤞 food keeps coming.
There seems to be enough food , but mom seems obsessed with only feeding the biggest, and that seems typical to me , when I watch this nests , until something happens to change that, sometimes they do , can't name them here because it will take too much space and time
Not so much food shortages but a combination of the parent showing little interest in feeding the small one.and.the bigger one being very aggressive at meal times preventing the small one from eating.
Mom cannot control or discipline the eaglets. The parents can only feed the small ones after the oldest lets them. It's not the parent that decides the oldest must eat first, 1. the parent must make sure there is enough food that #1 doesn't get nervous and 2. there is enough food after #1 is done eating. Once #1 gets nervous w' food aggression it will take many days and allot of food deliveries for #1 to get comfortable again and calm down, but sometimes they stay aggressive and the parent can do nothing more.
I know we shouldn't mess with nature, but it's too bad that little ones that are being ignored by their parents can't be moved into nests where the eggs didn't hatch and/or something happened to eaglets (like, give little LM7 to Jackie and Shadow). Then again, I'm not sure if eagles will adopt eaglets (or maybe they'd just eat it).
On UA-cam you can find videos of eaglets being swapped w' unhatched eggs in some nests, but it's very rare.
Yes,I agree.

LM5 Is how Scout started out LOL....LET ME EAT YOUR FACE!
It's obvious that the older siblings are greedy fattys,, they just ate, their crops are full , and still eating .Then the little one does not pay attention at times, head buried to ground , the little one is looking in other directions, while mom was looking at him with food .
He's afraid when the parent presents the food because he fears to get attacked by the bigger one. I think he now associates food with pain 😢 I watch this nest daily and i really hope for a good outcome, but i also noticed that the parent isn't making feeding #3 a priority. Even when he's right there begging for food the parent often ignores him. I see the bigger two getting bigger every day and the smaller one staying small and not gaining.
He got a few bites in this video but seems to have something stuck in his mouth and is struggling to remove it.
I hope there's a good outcome that comes from this too. That poor smaller eaglet. I really hope the little one survive and fledge out of that nest. The siblings is vicious and the mother eagle is irresponsible with the feeding. If only that eaglet was given to Shadow and Jackie of the Big Bear Eagle nest that really wanted to be parents, but sad that nature don't always work that way. Let's just hope for the best for the smaller eaglet in this nest.
Qué buena noticia que el tercer aguiluchito está con vida. Saldrá adelante y se hará más fuerte 🥰🐥😍❗
that concerns me. There is one other family with third eaglet that hatched and it died the second day or so out of hunger too. There are two born to another eagle family, but the father seems to be mentally ill as he actually ate both of the babies after mom fed them. They hatched one or two days apart and both were eaten after mom fed the baby and left the nest. Terrible. I think I have heard and seen enough eaglets dying. It's awful and one adolescent one also died. I think I heard that 5 eaglets have died so far.
Wish they could all be like Akacheta and Thunder ❤
@@deebell8727 I agree. E23's parents and Cal's parents are loving. Johnston Eagles also has good parents. Jackie and Shadow want eaglets and couldn't get the eggs to hatch. I feel sorry for them too.
@@deebell8727 Decorah North eagles seem to be loving too. I think there was one other that had three eaglets and they are getting along.
At 19:01 on the livestream we can see the parent is eating fish and #3 is right there in front begging and yelling and the parent eats the food and doesn't feed #3. There is a big fish and the parent is eating the fish whilst ignoring #3's yells for food. Clearly the parent isn't much interested in feeding him because then comes in the big one and the parent insists on feeding the big one😢
😥😟
Yes, the parent is only interested in eating than in feeding the oldest eaglet.
The parents have to eat too and they feed the closest open beak. That's their feeding instinct. #3 is too far from Mom being afraid get bonked by bigger ones that's all.
