One of the very few artist that sings his soul out. What a true idol you are. Continue to inspire others with your music and talent. Watching all the way from the Philippines! 🇵🇭
Just saw your blind audition for The Voice. You got my attention immediately. A confident man with an old soul. I could hear you collaborating with Chris Thile, Bela Fleck, and even Postmodern Jukebox. Pure and honest talent.
Saw you on The Voice tonight and came straight to UA-cam to look for you. This song is great and I love what you are doing. I love the tone of your voice and your guitar playing. You have a new fan for sure.
I can’t help myself when I’m around you I’m so glad I found, babe My tender heart was crying Cause living on the road it can be lonely Yeah yeah, when you’re only Only on your own Do you remember When you were a child babe Robed in the gospel choir I want you to sing for me again Sing hallelujah Oh hallelujah Babe don’t want to lose you Lose you once again You and me, playing in the fields of golden grain Some old Wisconsin day Til we heard that bell toll You’d take off with the north wind at your heels Back to your momma’s porch Where I’d wait until after dark, when the moon was full But do you remember That night in the graveyard You kissed me on the lips And told me to sing for you again Sing hallelujah Oh hallelujah Babe don’t want to lose you Lose you once again I’ve been back for days, I’ve been back for years And through all the tears, babe Our love it did grow And though I long for you, I can hear her calling me That old road beneath my feet
Saw you on The Voice. Your cover of 'better now' is my favourite and I would love to listen to the whole version of it. Your voice is pure magic. I can't wait to hear more from you. Good luck on everything!
its 1 am, its saturday, im hanging at my family's house back home after a long road trip, and i feel so much comfort and connection to this. thanks jacob
I got into your music around the beginning of 2018 from your Bridge City Crooners' band and I've been hooked ever since. Then I saw that you performed on the Voice and thought, "This man's gonna make it." I hope you continue making the beautiful music that you do, from one old soul to another ^_^
Hi Jacob. I saw you in the voice and maaaaan you're so great! That knockout round you did, deeeeeym! I liked that you slowed down the song like kelly said. I'am a fan by the way.
Just listened you on the Voice and I replayed your audition over and over. You have a gift of a voice that reaches into the soul. Wishing you success and being able to stay grounded so you can enjoy the journey.
This is absolutely incredible. Watching this for the first time reminds me of the first time I ever watched the red rocks performance by John Butler trio for some reason. Magic. Keep it up.
I finally paused from watching your blind audition to see what else you have to offer. I found this gorgeous piece of music. Thanks for singing one of my fave Dylan songs. You sing with honest and sincerity and entirely in tune. You had me crying almost from note one. Some believe there should be anger in the delivery but I loved the more melancholic interpretation you gave us. I think Dylan was both angry and sad at what was transpiring. Boy is that ever relevant now. Thank you so much for allowing me to feel music. There r so few on this show that have done that. I mean I can count them on one hand. Much success. I hope you find your way to the northeast. I will be the first to buy a ticket. Cheers.
I'm just one of several that watched you on the blinds of The Voice and had to look you up immediately . You've got an amazing voice and I love the Crooners style !!!!! I can't wait to see what you bring to the table. Good luck to you !!!!!! Oh, and I subscribed and hit the notification bell immediately !!!!!!
We saw you with your band around a campfire at Doe Bay a few years back and loved it, but this music is a whole new level of gorgeous! You are so talented- keep up the amazing work!

Just found out your my cuz I have a song about N WI where Grandpa Hughes lived in Springstead my mom was born on that farm.It is called That old road. Down an old road of dirt sand and stone Is a place my mom called home With wooden gates too separate the pastures of green and gold God put a spring with good water to drink and blessed a man with Grace Its the only place I know that could heal her soul Was on the shores where the wild rice grows Where the wild rice grows There was love and kindness When the north wind blows We had love to bind us It goes on from there I just lost my mom about a month ago she was the last one born on that farm When you have time I would love for you to record my song
My sweetheart killed herself a few months ago. This song makes me cry for her. I miss her so mush. 😢

I can’t help myself when I’m around you
I’m so glad I found, babe
My tender heart was crying
Cause living on the road it can be lonely
Yeah yeah, when you’re only
Only on your own
Do you remember
When you were a child babe
Robed in the gospel choir
I want you to sing for me again
Sing hallelujah
Oh hallelujah
Babe don’t want to lose you
Lose you once again
You and me, playing in the fields of golden grain
Some old Wisconsin day
Til we heard that bell toll
You’d take off with the north wind at your heels
Back to your momma’s porch
Where I’d wait until after dark, when the moon was full
But do you remember
That night in the graveyard
You kissed me on the lips
And told me to sing for you again
Sing hallelujah
Oh hallelujah
Babe don’t want to lose you
Lose you once again
I’ve been back for days, I’ve been back for years
And through all the tears, babe
Our love it did grow
And though I long for you, I can hear her calling me
That old road beneath my feet
Your voice man and guitar skills!
Aww, I am in love 😍 ~Kate
