I'm sure i was reading. A story written by a man pretending to be Murakami. As i was munching down the fictional lines written on a imaginary white paper, i heard a voice. "I'm the second Tom, Thomas" it said. Owner of the voice was simply beautiful. Melody of the story was turning sour as she was smiling, reading it aloud for me. Suddenly i felt like time has stopped and sitting next to me, screaming at me to wake up. Wake up from imaginary world where i was watching a video of reading a story written by someone trying to write like a popular novelist. Then my computer made a noise. I was being summoned to boss's chamber for spacing out at work. Again..
This is definitely a underappreciated gem of a channel. I havent seen any other channel here do any sort of "the essence/how to write like___" the same way this video structures and plans it, really well done.
Very underrated, I was quite surprised at the number of views. The content, the editing and the technical quality deserve way more. Also, I'd like to add to the tips: Don't use big words. This kind of expands upon the "use 3-4 sentences" tip, but I feel like it's a core characteristic of Murakami's writing style. He never uses words that are unnecessary, making it feel very direct and clean.
Nice use of the typewriter! It makes the video more charming and interesting. I have a royal QDL 1948 . Typewriters are great cuz they can make the process of writing more fun or engaging. I used to write pen, but pen just reminds me of school half the time.

This was really fun and interesting to see you dissect and absorb the style of one of my most interested authors! Please do more!
