- Welcome back to my channel! I had such a crazy few months that made my timeline to completing my private pilot license longer than expected, but Im still working my way through! Hoping to continue to document how things are going here on my channel.
In this video I shared some of the hurdles I had to overcome, what inspired me to want to fly, and where I currently am in training.

I just passed my check ride this last Friday and have already had the opportunity to fly my family around. Paying out of pocket was tough as I spent way more than I had originally planned.
Congratulations! I definitely agree- I've been highly considering an accelerated program after the private.
If you want to make it to the serious end I hope your math and science knowledge, skills are top notch. Ground school commercial is tough..GL.

I had my first 2 solos last week so happy to get those out of the way I was at about 30 hours when I soloed. I am hoping to start ATP in June with a PPL

This is not a personal attack...just an observation of how screwed up the education system is. You graduate college with a degree in biological science and go into serious debt (like lots of college students). You then work multiple jobs not pertaining to your major to make ends meet to pay off the massive debt from this school, which I commend you! You then start a retail business not related to that expensive degree. Why go to college in the first place? The demand of getting your ATP gets costly and time consuming as you know. Eventually you will have to decide which is more important, the business or the pilot career or else it will take you 15 years to get the hours needed. I have owned multiple businesses, and they don't run themselves, especially if you have employees. A absent owner will tank a business. An employee will never have the same investment as the owner. I never went to college. I went to a trade school (no debt) and have done very well over the years, but I have made many mistakes both personally and financially. I have 4 kids and one is a commercial pilot (Fed ex). I wish you the best of luck in your future! Hurry up because if you ever decide to ever have a family it makes it impossible to chase that dream!
