Kenzo, the wall splat top heavy only works on VG if you're at max range, otherwise it whiffs. Its best to go with side heavy for consistency.

Ken it's just Varangian (and some other characters like BP) that have the top heavy issue. Your opponent has to be far enough from the wall when you throw, if you're too close there's not enough time to top heavy.
