CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit Swift Water Rescue Training

As the weather heats up, water safety becomes more important than ever! Earlier this spring, @calfireaue and the El Dorado County Fire Protection District conducted a multi-agency River and Flood Rescue Technician Course on the South Fork of the American River. First responders practiced various rescue techniques, including rope rescues, throw bag use, shallow water crossings, boat operations, and line crossings to ensure they are prepared for any situation.
