Thank you for discussing the remedies for debilitated Jupiter. I have been a student of Astrology for over many decades now - I have found many correlations between planet placements, dashas and transits that can explain the condition a subject is in to a lesser or greater extents. But I am yet to come across a single case of any such remedies, or havans/pujas that helped the subject by improving and avoiding or preempting the bad conditions a subject is facing or is likely to face in future. I have been told by a learned astrologer that such remedies were designed to provide the astrologers with economic and financial means to earn their livelihood. This is also mentioned in some old shastra or a textbook of astrology, but I forget its name now. But that was way back in past and it made sense then in that society. But in contemporary times, such pujas/havans, precious stones and other remedies have been formalized into a major economic industry devoid of any spiritual link to the underlying philosophy. Well improving something can only happen by either going through the bad situation, learning your lessons and then prashchit, if there is no acceptance of why the situation is there, and mistakes continue as such then no amount of remedies and havans will give any results as you mentioned, the ill placement of planets show bad karma associated to them .. I do go with what you said so the only way I feel the planet can be strengthened is to imbibe the qualities of the planet and not that you will see results immediately, how much bad karma is there and when we will see God's grace is left to God we can only improve ourselves.:)
