It's 2024. I came here cos I was sad Liverpool fans were really hating on Henderson on twitter and i totally remember him being a sensational footballer in his prime. I hate the fact that it's Liverpool fans downplaying his contributions to our rise back to the top. I've seen a few city fans sticking up for him even. Jordan Henderson, no matter what, some of us will always remember. My captain.❤
It's hard to find many fans who think like me , you know your football...I don't understand the hate Hendo gets, only because he doesn't play like Pirlo or someone else silky ...its not fluke Hendo has achieved all the success he has, rightly deserved
He is not underrated, he is the captain of the best club in the world. Well, he might be underpaid compare with Captain Marv... I mean captain Maguire.
If you look at the clips around 2017 his 1st touches also improved so much (Klopp affects). Damn. England need this type of DM balls which Phillips and Rice couldn't even do because of their poor 1st touch and ball receiving abilities.
Such a baller, leader and work horse, this man gives the club his absolute all, great player too bad he doesn’t often get the respect he rightfully deserves
He's in the same category as Thomas Muller for me. He does everything the game asks him to do and he always works for the team. Very underrated player. Liverpool and England are better when he plays.
@@ramadhanalbi4857Hmmm. They not the same hendo like bobby is his own player realli cause he does things that not many mids do today. The passing the defense. If u ask ou dits what they want from their mids is too be like KDB but look at him if he not scoring or assisting he does nothing else for u
@@ramadhanalbi4857 I think he meant a smart, well positioned, hard working player who doesn't have quite the same natural talent but makes up for it with always being in the right place
I love how the only ppl who mourn about him is fans who has zero knowledge abt football. I never seen or heard ANY pundit or manager talk bad abt him. Even a commentators always giving a praise on how passionate he is. Idk why fans are so stupid sometimes
If he was an avarage player he would not have been klopps captain for 5 years. Because he isn not flashy or an expert in one thing people dont see his worth. barring his shooting which on the whole isn't great (he does pull out a banger now and again), he does everthing else 8/10 week in week out and his ability to control a game by keeping his game simple is massively underated. He has been one hell of a midfielder for Liverpool. People just like to point out when he does have an off game like all players do.
Been saying this for years and years yet some people still don’t get him, a lot say he was poor when he first came to liverpool, he wasn’t it was just the players receiving the ball after him wasted their opportunities. He’s always given it maximum effort, kept his nose clean, trains extremely hard and is unselfish. I’m just hoping he stays fit well into his late 30s. My favourite player
he's the most passionate captain and player. Its been since 2015 klopp appear in Liverpool and Henderson from then till now never change he's still the passionate and most hard working player I've ever seen, it doesn't matter whether its playing for England or Liverpool, losing or winning this guy will always give his 101% more and never give up.
@@christianalexanderthegreat8941 The English media has a chip on their shoulder regarding Liverpool players. Wouldn't take them seriously. He's the ca[tain of one of the best teams if not arguably the best starting 11 in the world. That speaks for itself.
Id say slightly more calmness on the ball though, and possible better positioning. In all other ways though, yeah, he's a slightly scaled down Stevie g
Everything Kevin De Bryne can do , he can do it too, just that he dont have the crazy curve like Kevin, thats why he is still a very top good player even at his age at 33, he still represent in England National Team i think Liverpool should stay him for 2 more years until 35 years old then he can started to think to go other club to play easier football or thinking about retire
Eventhough he is not the top list when it comes to the penalty and set pieces, he still be the boss on the pitch..looks weird when he is not in the 1st eleven tho..
Henderson reminds me to Steven Gerrard, almost look like Steven Gerrard but I think Steve G is still better even though he has never led Liverpool to the EPL title
I know Captain Jordan Henderson is a quality player and has backing (many of us know this fact). In any event, in my humble opinion, the best midfield trio of Liverpool Football Club (when/if fit and based on talents) are: FABINHO, THIAGO, and NABY KEITA. The dynamic trio complement each other very well. Barring LFC, skipper Henderson (with all due respect) may find it ddifficult to be an "automatic" starter for Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham, Many United, or even Arsenal. He will be a role player in the aforementioned teams. ************** In my humble opinion, The CHAMPIONS LEAGUE'S hampions best midfield trios are as follows: *Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka & Thomas Muller (Bayern) *Hakan Calhanoglu, Marcelo Brozovic & Nicolo Barella (Inter) ... *Fabinho, Thiago & Naby Keita (Liverpool) * *Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri & Bernardo Silva (Manchester City) *Toni Kroos, Casemiro & Luka Modric (Real Madrid).
I do agree his dribbling in the tight spaces isn’t great but he’s decent… he rarely does dribbling but when he does it doesn’t look good or skilful, he uses his physical strength to hold the opponents and looks for the simple pass. But still his recycling of the ball is second to none. Only difference is that when technical skilful player recycles the ball they do skill full moves which makes everyone go crazy and when Henderson does, it’s as simple and very very ordinary as a beginner player. Hence, most of the fans thinks he does nothing and is poor on the ball.
There's a reason why Liverpool had so many managers over the previous decade yet he's a starter for all of them....just like Benzema
That's what Maguire said

One of the best Midfield players In the world massivley underrated.
Henderson and Müller in one midfield would be the only occasion where you can justify the use of underrated
Add in casemiro, he was pretty damn good in the cl last year from what I saw. Maybe busquets?
Holy cow, his vision and crossing is absolutely stunning
I bet he will score in the 2022 world cup in the round of 16 - mark my words !

He did well enough at Sunderland to earn a move to Liverpool. It might have been good to see at least one thing he did with us in the clip
First time I saw Trent crossing, I thought he mirrored Henderson's techniques.
Also gerrard's techniques
Gerrard and Alonso in one. Every goal he has scored are quite exceptional. Worth the shot. Captain Fabulous!

the worst music is used for these I swear
THE PASSES ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL BUT THEY ARE NOT ASSISTS , THEY ARE MOSTLY PRE ASSISTS
Passing, tackling, shooting.. perfect 👌👌
He's a toned down Gerrard. You can see that Gerrard mentored him in how he plays, and he passed that on to Trent now.
If he was from any other nation, he would be considered one of the best midfielders in the world
The fact he isn’t overhyped by the English should already tell you something.

He's pretty terrible at the moment but Henderson is one of the most underrated English footballer of all time.
His posture is horrid though, no wonder he doesn’t do dribbling enough. His worst games are shocking, him versus Banega at Sevilla is one of them.
He's the one English player they just seem to get right. Everyone else they either criticize unfairly or overhype like crazy.
Most of these nutmegs you see in the video are like once every 35 matches, he’s absolutely static on the ball mostly
Remind me to prime Steve G but with lack of pace, aggression and mobility.

Shame hes lost his legs....that's part of the reason we've been crap this season. It's time to move him on.

Not really about Klopp, was always a decent player and has developed every season since he signed for Liverpool.

He's a good passer of the ball. No doubt about that. It's his lack of close control & press resistance holds him back

Not really, is just that UA-cam can make Giroud look like Pele, Henderson is just average
There is always one clown who knows nothing about football 😂 lmao
Surpassed slippy G imo
He isn't "exceptional lol" no kid calls themselves "Henderson". He's good. Nothing more.
Henderson has had a good impact on Liverpools seasons over the past 2-3 years but apart from that he's lucky to be there.
You don't stay at Liverpool for 12 years and captain 8 of them through luck....come on
Juve!
