I had so many friends and family around me until my physical and mental health issues worsened and life stuff happened. I just moved house and have zero social circle at the moment. I'm hoping that will gradually change as I find like-minded people. But for the last few years your Coffee Moanings, live chats and videos have been my comfort and connection in so many ways, they've kept me going at some really tough times. Seeing your confidence grow Mark has also inspired me hugely. THANK YOU. Love you all xxx

totally agree with what Caz said. I am exactly the same. Having to do day to day😮 everthing can make you so weary. i was married for 34 years- but in a loveless, mentally abusive one. happy on my own but miss companionship an physical comfort and knowing someone has my back. love the channelxxxx

I get that people don't know what to say but my own personal pet hate was people saying "OMG, you're so brave!". No, I'm wasn't! And the one that really still winds me up is Brave The Shave parties! I understand that family and friends think they're being supportive by shaving their hair off as well, but trust me, there's a huge difference between shaving it off by choice compared to losing it from chemotherapy. I lost hair in/on my body including every hair inside my nostrils, which was so unbelievably painful and it meant I had horrible nosebleeds. I feel terrible for not appreciating what family and friends wanted to do but cancer and its treatment is different for everyone. But it can be a very lonely road! Yesterday I even heard one news anchor say about the Princess' announcement video "But her chemo can't be too bad because look at her, beautiful luscious locks!" Really? That's what she took from all of that? I'm one of the fortunate ones: it's five years this June since my diagnosis and surgery, and four years since my treatment finished but still to this day I have side effects of the chemo and radiotherapy! Wishing you both well xx

Everyone in other countries wears these phone cases, we’re very behind in the UK. They are perfect for taking photos on holiday

I think it’s possible to overcome loneliness, but it involves putting yourself out there and risking rejection.

I don’t really mind what people say with regard to cancer I’ve had cancer and I’m okay now I reacted well to the treatment and battled with my brain maybe not the actual treatment …..my sister-in-law passed away last year and when I say she battled she had the most horrific Cancers and the most horrific last few days of her life she battled !! so it’s different for different people I think people try to choose their words as sensitively as they can a lot of the time people don’t know what to say.. it’s always to do with the other person Finding the words as it’s difficult for them to know what to say perhaps And not the person that’s actually going through it…

I have never considered myself as feeling lonely and i am now so used to doing most things on my own, that i think that i would find it tricky to share my life with anyone. i go to the cinema, theatre and out for meals on my own and find it liberating. i went to Norway last September on my own and didn't feel lonely at all. As has been said, the wrong relationships can make you feel more lonely. i have experienced this and therefore would rather be on my own than in an unhappy relationship. Sometimes, as a wheelchair user life can be wearing but i'd rather that than having to compromise so much that i would come to resent the other person. xx0.

I've had cancer once awaiting results to see if I've got it again. It's not a battle you just have to deal with it.

For me I would say I felt quite lonely until I had my youngest daughter. Since she was born my loneliness completely disappeared. She's now 18 months old 😊. She keeps me busy and entertained all day.
