No judging Len's editing OR YOU WILL MISS SOME GREAT POINTERS from an experienced Craftsman! Making marks on both sides with a perpendicular sighting line, avoiding bad shadows that obscuring the marks and adjusting the grip on the material were all new to me. You are a bit old fashioned like me. I had situations, where I put a fascia,etc, under an existing flashing. I always score it not to heavy, which makes a bigger edge on top of the piece, and have that always facing out. You would be surprised, it usually slides over the top of nail heads and other things slightly sticking out. Turned the other way is a disaster. Your friend Denzil🐶
Thank you for the comment Denzil, I'm glad your finding out easier ways, this is tough enough work already, fighting with bushes moving ladders around etc, it will keep you in good condition and thinking of easier ways. Would you please consider making more videos using the trim brake with different applications... Tapco has one and it's terrible that they sale a product and don't have a decent training video for it.
Aaron, thanks for the comment, years ago, when I got that brake they did have a VHS tape, (if you what that is) and a training manual, which had all different types of shapes, instructing the user to take a 1 foot piece, and practice,,, finsh side up, finish side down etc. if you get a chance to watch my other long video, I encourage you to watch, most of my vids are short, I hope this helps, thanks, Len.

Aaron, if you look on you tube, there are some Tapco manufacturer, tech/sales guys that show how to make different shapes...I hope this helps

I have a question I have a tapco brake like yours when I open the brake it doesn't want to stay open is there a adjustment to make it stay open thanks
If it doesn't stay open, and it's like this one, there are little springs that hold the "mouth" open
