Lauren, The thing about that vase that you had painted earlier this yr. As your taste changes or wanting to use it somewhere else you can always get some craft paint and update to whatever color you want.. I've had a lamp like that I know it's been painted at least 20 times and gone thru about 6 or 8 diff shades.. It's probably about 50 yrs old and now it's painted white with a gold shade.. It's on the table that we have alike...I like how you shop at thrift stores and can refinish things...

I’m proud of you for sticking with it and taking time for yourself 💕 I loved 🥰 that adorable 🥰 ghost 👻 pillow and that blanket is perfect with it!! That pillow is going to be a magnet for dirty little fingers. Pick up some Scotch Guard spray from Walmart to keep it good as new. Then you can wipe the dirt right off and you can use it year after year. As for that salad spinner “Take It Back”. I would. It’s not your fault it cracked. Even if you don’t have your receipt 🧾 they should be able to pull it up with the card you used. If not show them the clip in your video. Things are just too expensive not to last longer. I also love 💕 your pelican pic too!! I’m so looking forward to your thrifting through the states video. I would have loved 🥰 to have met you in Virginia. You are just the sweetest person ever and a terrific Mom!! I’m going to my local Home Goods to see if I can find those hair clips. Also those plastic storage containers did come in 3’s. I looked at them myself in gray but I thought they would be too small for what needed them for. I’m so glad to see someone else with them so I could see how they could be used and how much they actually hold. Love the light blue!! Also I think if I remember correctly Costco has a lunch container “like” the Bendigo but without the price. I love the $5 ones you got because if you forget to wash it or it’s in the dishwasher to be washed you have backup. Also if you’re anything like me I get grossed out easily with things getting left in plastic too long and I will just throw it away. It’s easier to throw out a $5 container than a much more expensive one. Looking forward to your fall decorating video! Just a quick FYI checkout Dollar Tree 🌲!!!!! You will be blown away with their fall decor. I straight up felt like a lot of it could be for Hobby Lobby. I got some great pieces to mix with my old decor. Another thing if you don’t like your current fall decor don’t get rid of it. Think outside the box and repurpose your existing decor with paint or even an old sweater sleeve wrapped around an old pumpkin 🎃 to make it new again. If you can repurpose things you have thrifted you can repurpose fall decor too no need to a new pumpkin just repurpose the old ones. Watch a dollar tree video before going so you know what to look 👀 for that you may want. That’s what I did. Also another quick idea to make extra money for Christmas. If you have any decorations for fall or Christmas you no longer want post them on marketplace. No one can really afford crazy expensive hobby lobby decorations right now with these insane grocery prices. Everyone is looking for a deal where they can find one. So if you feel safe selling to Marketplace make some extra spending money 💰!! I’m doing that myself and I taught my best friend a few years ago. It comes in handy to sell your slightly used things this time of year for extra spending money. We all come across things when we open those containers this time of year that we don’t really like anymore after we loved it before. Best of luck with everything!! 💕
I am so proud of you for not automatically going for the most expensive. I love everything you bought, especially the little ghost pillow. We need to be saving money as much as we can and you showed it can be done with a stunning DIY rather than dropping 30 bucks on something I don't think looks as good the one you did. Lauren, I know you said Home Goods but your bags had TJ Maxx on them. Did you go to both? I saw some baskets that I'm interested in but wanted to know exactly where you went that day with the basket with the yellow checked ribbon. I have a fractured ankle and cannot walk on these crutches for a long time so I wanted to know which store was that at. Let me know. In your video they were the baskets on the floor with a lid on them.
Oh I’m so sorry to hear that Paula! So my store is a HomeGoods/TJMaxx store! There’s a few of them in my town where they are both 🧐 however, I believe HomeGoods in the “home” part and TJMaxx is the “clothing” side of the store!❤️
@@LaurenMidgley I'll try to stop at Home Goods next week.. We only have one in town and there's a TJ Maxx there too but a TJ Maxx closer to me but man I don't think I would make it walking that far to get there. That's why I was asking. This nerve and tendon damage is about to drive me up the wall.
@@LaurenMidgley Until this nerve pain goes away.. This happened 4/10/23.. Now having an MRI but this nerve problem is painful. Feels like a lightning bolt thru your foot or someone has a live wire touching you with it..

If you have sams club, they sell the bentgo containers for about $15 I think. My kids use those :)
